The Supremes did as expected and removed federal sanction of abortion, but not making it illegal only turning the issue back to the states. Some, like California and New York, probably will continue the practice. Others, probably like Texas, will make it illegal.

UPDATE: Abortion will be illegal in Texas in thirty days, pursuant to a “trigger law” passed in June, 2021.
