Lee Luckey, an OCS buddy who owns his own CPA firm, alerted me to these stats last fall, but I wasn’t able to find a chart. I borrowed this one from Cobb. It shows, pretty clearly, that we shouldn’t be impressed every time a Democrat pol tells us the rich aren’t paying their fair share. They’re already carrying 69 percent of the load. Without them, taxes would be soaking the rest of us.
