People would rather watch Spongebob

Fake News is really taking it in the shorts, no matter Stelter, Tapper or whiny Acosta.

“CNN’s ace primetime lineup hosts Anderson Cooper and Fredo Cuomo have to be biting their pillows at night being beaten handley by the History Channel which…had 1.06 million viewers in primetime while CNN scored 992,000 average viewers, most of whom were probably stuck at an airport with nothing else to watch. The network didn’t fare much better in the ratings for its daytime programming, finishing in sixth place, lagging far behind Fox News, MSNBC, and Spongebob Squarepants.”

Weeping Sponge

Mr. Boy certainly got Viacom’s message on Time-Warner’s threat to remove SpongeBob and some of Mr. B.’s other favorites from TW’s cable (our primary local provider). We do appreciate his little lesson in cutthroat capitalism and also the temporary agreement forestalling the Sponge’s demise. But he and we wonder why Viacom really needs an extra four dollars per cable customer from TW to keep providing the Sponge and his pals? Must be all that debt Viacom is carrying. But TW has its share.
