For my money, this was Romney’s absolutely best line of the “debate” and I hope he keeps using it. Trickle-down economics was a Democrat invention of years ago to slam Republican support for free markets. They keep using it, as if it meant anything.
Trickle-down government, however, is exactly what you get from Obama, Biden, Reid and Pelosi—not a one of whom has ever been in business. They are career pols who only know about prevaricating, exaggerating and passing dubious laws to spend other people’s money to help keep them in office so they don’t have to actually, uh, work for a living.
But, of course, after the “stimulus” funds of trickle-down government pass through the wallets of all their cronies, not much is left to help the rest of us. Which, for all the Democrat baloney about “helping the little guy,” really isn’t on their agenda.
