I always wondered about that song the Democrats always sing in celebration on election night when they get a new guy in the White House. Have since FDR, actually. Well, I used to wonder, until Uncle Barry rolled out the big bucks that skyrocketed the national debt—a good percentage of which went to his cronies, like ACORN.
But the GSA scandal and the Secret Service prostitutes (hmm, echoes of ACORN) also make the song and its sentiment absolutely plain. As Instapundit has said, if you want the media to scrutinize presidential administrations, vote Republican. They flat go to sleep when a Democrat has the office, which only encourages things like the GSA and Secret Service shenanigans.
