Ringworld’s Children

Really a good read, and I’m sorry it’s over. The book and the Ringworld series, that is, unless Larry Niven has another one up his sleeve. Probably not, the way this one ended, with the Ringworld moving at near light-speed deeper into the galaxy, and Louis Wu and the Hindmost heading elsewhere. Goodbye, Chmee (Speaker-to-Animals) and Acolyte. Bon voyage.

  1. It depends on how nice a yacht he wants. Sorta like every time Pete Townsend needs money, the Who has another “Farewell Tour”.
    I figure, we’ll get a prequel. Maybe the protectors fighting amongst themselves or maybe the City Builders rising or something.

    A prequel would be nice, say, the building of ringworld itself, maybe. Although I imagine it would take more than a book to buy this beauty:
