Ringworld

Still a favorite, the Ringworld series, which I think of now and again. So when I saw this wonderful book cover repro from Ringworld’s Children, I had to post it. I’m surprised the three four-book series isn’t packaged to sell as one. Maybe rare reader Veeshir, who also enjoyed the series, has some thoughts on that.

  1. I am wary of SF series usually. Although, come to think of it, the Heechee saga went quite well for me. But it was rather an exception.
By the way, I’ve tagged you.

    Cheers.

  2. You can’t just invoke my name and expect me to show up.
    Wait…..
    I can’t figure out publishers.
They probably don’t expect a Ringworld anthology to be popular.
I figure that after Fox fired the guys who canceled Firefly, they went to work for whoever publishes the Ringworld novels.
Alternatively, they’re by different publishers, three are by Del Rey and Ringworld’s Children is by Tor.
    That might explain it.

Veeshir: Yep, different publishers would do it. Although you would think they could work out a deal to share the profits.
I also enjoyed Firefly. Space and the Wild West. Nice combo.
Thanks for answering the summons. 😉
Snoopy: Tag? I will have to research this.
