Ma Barker campaigns for election fraud

Ma Barker speechified at historically-black Texas Southern U. in Houston: “I call on Republicans at all levels of government, with all manner of ambition to stop fear-mongering about a phantom epidemic of election fraud and start explaining why they are so scared of letting citizens have their say.”

I.E., by quashing voter i.d. laws, a hindrance not to citizens, but to illegal immigrants voting.

Liberal Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens (now retired and replaced by Elena Kagan) wrote in a recent opinion: “[F]lagrant examples of such fraud …have been documented throughout this Nation’s history by respected historians and journalists…not only is the risk of voter fraud real but that it could affect the outcome of a close election.”

No wonder Ma’s not taking snooze media questions. They might not all be reliable Democrat lapdogs, eh Ma? She knows the truth about voter fraud, to the extent that she deals in truth. She just figures her probable voters aren’t educated enough to know. And she’s not going to enlighten them, are you Ma?

UPDATE: Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a Republican considering a presidential run, accused Clinton on Friday of ‘demagoguery.’ “Don’t be running around the country dividing Americans,” he told Fox News.

Ah, but that’s what Ma does. That’s how she and her Democrat cronies do it. Divide and conquer. It’s worked for them more often than not.

CAIR’s Muslim kiddy-diddler

Orlando [Florida] community activist Ahmad Saleem drove to a Clermont-area house intending to meet a 12-year-old girl he had been chatting with online for sex in a vehicle with a specialty ‘Invest in Children’ license plate, authorities said Tuesday….

“Saleem, founder of the Saleem Academy, an organization dedicated to empowering Muslim youths globally, was one of the 101 people arrested in an undercover cybercrime prostitution and child-sex sting by the Lake and Polk county sheriff’s offices. . . .

“Saleem was also the Orlando regional coordinator for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a nonprofit organization dedicated to challenging stereotypes of Islam and Muslims…

Heh. Ahmad’s a walking stereotype, a faithful follower of Mighty Mo, the kiddy diddler.

The Fart, Barf & Itch Air Force

“The FBI is operating a small air force with scores of low-flying planes across the country carrying video and, at times, cellphone surveillance technology — all hidden behind fictitious companies that are fronts for the government, The Associated Press has learned.

“The planes’ surveillance equipment is generally used without a judge’s approval, and the FBI said the flights are used for specific, ongoing investigations. In a recent 30-day period, the agency flew above more than 30 cities in 11 states across the country, an AP review found.”

Looks like Rand Paul’s battle with the NSA—which I predict he will lose despite his initial victory—is only the beginning. Or maybe not.

Battles of Wikipedia

“There was the day in February [2008] when an editor replaced a photo of Hillary on her Wikipedia page with a picture of a walrus. Then there was the day this month [March 2008] when a Hillary supporter changed Obama’s bio so that it referred to him as ‘a Kenyan-American politician.'”

The problem of all encyclopedias, i.e. editorial bias, is sharpened by Wikipedia’s voluntary editing and real-time updating. These days it’s most obvious in the ongoing struggle over global warming/climate change (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Democrat Party) in manipulated Wikipedia entries about the climate blog What’s Up With That. It’ll be back to political infighting in next year’s presidential campaigns.

Nevertheless, as you will see from the widget at the bottom left of this page, I support Wikipedia for what it indispensably is: a pretty good internet encyclopedia. You just have to read it with a suspicious eye sometimes.

But that was also true of the Britannica and the World Book set I had as a kid.

2nd Amendment follies

Here’s an idea from Gay Patriot that the Stupid Party or the much smarter Tea Party really should look into.

“…if the right approached gun rights the same way the left approaches abortion and gay marriage, they would demand that the state subsidize gun purchases and that businesses be forced to sell guns whether they wanted to or not.”

Works for me. About time those RINOs in Congress got around to being proactive about something besides their graft.

Airships

hindenburg-promendade015web

I’ve been dreaming about the return of these “air yachts”, lofted by helium rather than explosive hydrogen, since the day in 1973 I rode the old Goodyear blimp. Slid back the passenger window and listened to a dog barking below. Ah, someday.

This good history site about the Hindenburg (above) the Graf Zeppelin and assorted others will have to do for now. Unless you can hook a ride on Zeppelin’s new Goodyear semi-dirigible. But it doesn’t have private, sleeping cabins or a viewing promenade.

Our record-breaking rain thus far

“…rainfall at Austin Camp Mabry [National Weather Service’s official rain gauge in the city] through May 25th has totaled 16.72 inches, 13.11 inches above normal.  This breaks the previous record May of 14.10 inches set in May 1895.”
