The Thugs of Charlotte

The Charlotte rioters have distinguished themselves by being both more violent and less relevant than even the Ferguson thugs. Not to mention the rioters of Baltimore, Milwaukee, Chicago, and New York. Interestingly, these thugs are supporting what are, in Ferguson’s case indisputably, and in Charlotte’s case so far presumably, bad asses who were killed because they were asking for it from the cops. This is Obama’s America—where criminals are emboldened.

Black rioters, in general, have always distinguished themselves by their trashing and looting of stores. What a politician would call being “off message.” It tends to weaken with the rest of us whatever argument they have. What is unusual about Charlotte is they are not trashing Dollar General in their own blighted neighborhoods but upscale, downtown shops in the heart of the banking district where non-blacks are vulnerable. Thousands of employees have been told not to come to work.

Which probably thrills the thug supporters in the modern, and very undistinguished NAACP, not to mention the anti-Israel Black Lives Matter anarchists—financed, lest we forget, by the leftist Ford Foundation— who are clearly anti-cop and anti-public order. But meanwhile it has reportedly ignited a rush on buying firearms, mostly 12-gauge shotguns and buckshot.

If the Democrats had any sense (I know, I know) they’d be working mightily and highly visibly to restore peace to Charlotte. But whether they do or not, the rioting is going to be a tremendous aid to electing Donald Trump, the law-and-order candidate, to the White House. Thanks, thugs.

Felonia’s audio prompter

The website True Pundit quoted unnamed New York police sources saying Clinton was wearing an “inductive earpiece” during the NBC forum hosted by Matt Lauer. The website described the unit as the kind of tech used by stage actors in need of prompting to recite forgotten lines.”

True or not (and who would put it past crooked Hillary?) this is a laugher. I remember when W was accused of something similar by the usual Democrat suspects. Nice to see the needles turned back on them for a change.

Schooling Fart, Barf & Itch

New agents are learning the bureau’s shameful history of wire-tapping Dr. King, thanks to new director Comey.

Next up: new agents will learn the bureau’s shameful history of protecting the Clintons and their “charitable” foundation, thanks to director Comey.

Both Democrat operations, by the way.

UPDATE: PJMedia’s Roger L. Simon: Comey should resign, for the good of the country. “He has humiliated the FBI and all its employees. The institution will never be the same, at least not for decades to come. The FBI is no longer an instrument of justice. It is the reverse. It is an obfuscater of justice and an enabler of the rich and powerful.” Yep. Not that Comey cares about that

Vanderbilt U.: The latest Orwellian daycare center

“In 1935 the United Daughters of the Confederacy constructed Confederate Memorial Hall as a residence for girls at Nashville’s Peabody College. Originally residents who were descendants of Confederate veterans and agreed to become teachers were granted free room and board. The school and dormitory were acquired by Vanderbilt University in 1979. Earlier this month university chancellor, Nicholas Zeppos, announced that the name ‘Confederate’ will be sandblasted off of the building.”

The precious little buttercups of Vanderbilt would rather play “let’s pretend” than have their tender sensitivities subjected to the rigors of historical truth—lest they be mightily offended.

Trump gets it

“Tonight, I am asking for the vote of every African-American citizen in this country who wants a better future. The inner cities of our country have been run by the Democratic Party for 50 years.  Their policies have produced only poverty, joblessness, failing schools, and broken homes. It is time to hold Democratic Politicians accountable for what they have done to these communities.  It is time to hold failed leaders accountable for their results, not just their empty words.”

Humans on an alien world

Apollo Sixteen astronaut Charles Duke’s family snapshot, that is, face up on the lunar dust. Is it still there? Who knows. But it was when he put it there in 1972.

“‘This is the family of Astronaut Duke from Planet Earth. Landed on the Moon, April 1972,’ the spaceman wrote on the back of the picture.”

He wasn’t the only astronaut to leave mementos on the moon, according to NASA deputy administrator Robert Jacobs. “A lot of astronauts left some sort of personal memento. This one is a moment of humanity and what is important, for Charlie it was his family.”

Duke, a former Air Force test pilot, is 80.

The Pussy Generation

Clint Eastwood: “…secretly everybody’s getting tired of political correctness, kissing up. That’s the kiss-ass generation we’re in right now. We’re really in a pussy generation.”

No kidding.
