From one black man to another

A real black professor calls out the phony black professor who can’t tell the truth even with a teleprompter:

“When Barack Obama squanders his own credibility with his glib lies, he is not just injuring himself during his time in office. He is inflicting a lasting wound on the country as a whole.”

A wound that’s getting deeper all the time, as Barry’s “Justice” Department ignores the IRS scandal, he gets newspapermen and rodeo clowns fired, his pals in Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood have destroyed 54 Christian churches and monasteries, some of them ancient, he has secretly eliminated U.S. aid to Egypt’s military, and polls show less than half of Americans trust him anymore.

He’s Nixon with a sun tan. Unfortunately, the court media isn’t likely to push him to resign. And the GOP doesn’t have the cajones to impeach him.

UPDATE:  Barry’s strange love affair with the Muslim Brotherhood. What do you want to bet he’s not even embarrassed now?

Why we don’t win wars anymore

“On December 7, 1941, the U.S. naval base at Pearl Harbor was attacked. Three years, eight months, and eight days later, the Japanese surrendered. These days, America’s military moves at a more leisurely pace. On November 5, 2009, another U.S. base, Fort Hood, was attacked — by one man standing on a table, screaming “Allahu akbar!” and opening fire. Three years, nine months, and one day later, his court-martial finally got under way…it now takes the U.S. military longer to prosecute a case of ‘workplace violence’ than it did to win World War Two.”   —Mark Steyn.

Benghazi coverup: It’s about the Manpads

Manpads, a silly acronym for shoulder-fired anti-aircraft missiles. You know, the kind developed to shoot down military helicopters, which could also be used, if the user was driven by some sort of religious fanaticism, to shoot down airliners.

And 400 of them still on the loose is the reason for all the coverup about Benghazi, from Shillary’s “What difference, at this point, does it make” tantrum to the CIA’s hush-up of the survivors to Obongo’s claim of “phony scandals” unfairly diverting attention from his next ho-hum (yawn) speech.

Maybe we’ve finally got an explanation for why no aircraft were sent to help Ambassador Stevens survive.

The insanity at Fort Hood

Bad enough that the Pentagon echoed the White House in calling the Jihadi massacre of 13 unarmed soldiers (and wounding of 32 more) at Fort Hood in 2009 “workplace violence,” but now there seems to be no valid reason to be trying the killer Muslim major.

“The evidence will clearly show that I am the shooter,” he testified Tuesday. Huh?

If he admits his crime, if he admits he was the one who shouted “Allah is great” while he was pulling the trigger at least 13 times, why is he even on trial? He’s not defending himself as an innocent falsely accused. He admits his guilt. Sentence him and be done with it.

What seems to be happening is that he wanted a forum to publicize Jihad and let us all know why he had to murder people he’d never met to make his bloodthirsty god happy. And I’m sure he’ll show us chapter and verse in the Koran requiring him to fight the war that our incompetent government won’t even acknowledge. What poppycock.

The Army is staffed by bigger fools than we already thought. They’re giving this murderer a forum for his religious propaganda. And charging us taxpayers for a privilege he doesn’t deserve. The murderous major supposedly is insane. Ha. We’re the insane ones for putting up with this sorry excuse for a military.

UPDATE:  More absurdity: Since the Jihadi major faces the death penalty, under military law he cannot plead guilty. Huh? Even though he plainly has. Apparently he is going to get his soap box. And, get this, he’s still being paid his military salary. It isn’t like no one knew the bastard did it. But they insist on playing their little charade for the sake of “justice,” so-called.

All your air are belong to us

Forget trying to shoot down drones over your own property, says the FAA, adding that they control our airspace. Not that it has impressed the author of a Colorado city ordinance to encourage drone hunting:

“‘I don’t want to live in a surveillance society. I don’t feel like being in a virtual prison,’ Steel said. ‘This is a pre-emptive strike.’

“He dismissed the FAA’s warning. ‘The FAA doesn’t have the power to make a law,’ he said.”

True. At least, not legally. But the feds grow more contemptuous of the law every day. Witness the DOJ’s gun-running to Mexico and the IRS scandal.

But, for that matter, legality has never stopped outraged citizens from fighting back and sure as hell won’t this time as they watch their federal government grow increasingly corrupt. Good luck finding out who fired the shot(s) that crashes the first federal drone.

Our lying, gun-running U.S. Attorney General

Conservative and libertarian pundits like to say Eric Holder is among the most corrupt and racist attorneys general in U.S. history. He’s a bozo, alright, but that’s a lot of attorneys general.

I suspect many of his white predecessors were more racist. Even so-called liberal AG Robert Kennedy authorized the wiretapping of Dr. King. But corrupt? So I went to the tale of the tape, as a certain deceased sportscaster used to say.

The closest tape is Wikipedia—which I support even when I don’t agree with its content because it’s nice to have an encyclopedia on the Web and even the printed ones can be biased—and its historical recitation of federal political scandals suggests that, so far, Holder is an amateur when it comes to corruption, at least.

True, the Wikipedia entry does manage to ignore Holder’s department’s secret subpoena of phone records of the Associated Press and spying on Fox News—you can find the info if you click through to his profile, however.

But even after you include his contempt of Congress citation over failure to answer questions about the Fast & Furious gun-running scheme to Mexico, Holder has a long way to go to catch up with his contemptible predecessors in the Reagan, Nixon, Harding and Grant administrations.

Given his recent push to ignore a Supreme Court ruling and try to tell Texas how to hold elections (good luck with that, bozo), not to mention trying to try George Zimmerman twice (now that’s racism!), I’m betting that Holder will be up there with the superstars of racism and corruption by the next presidential go round in 2016.

Free Boroujerdi!

It’s good to know there’s at least one Muslim cleric who advocates tolerance of non-Muslims. Unfortunately Ayatollah Hossein Kazemeini  Boroujerdi has been imprisoned in Tehran since 2009, tortured and denied medical care, and now he is dying, presumably of heart disease.

“Ayatollah Boroujerdi threatens the regime for two reasons:  he advocates toleration of all religious (and non-religious) beliefs, and, in keeping with Shi’ite tradition, opposes the involvement of religious leaders in politics.  Years ago, he said ‘the regime is adamant that either people adhere to political Islam or be jailed, exiled or killed.

In 2010 he sent Hanukkah greetings to the Jews of the world, saying “any religious belief that brings us closer to the Source (God) is the truth. This force will lead humanity towards enlightenment. On this great day, we celebrate the unity among the believers of God’s light.”

A White House plea for Boroujerdi’s freedom, so he can at least die at home among family and friends, might work, as might a similar call by our U.N. rep Samantha Powers. It’s hard to imagine either happening, unfortunately, but it would be wonderful if they did.
