Washington’s Birthday

Well, it was so-called in my youth. Somewhere along the way it got renamed President’s Day. Which is the name of this weekend. Putting every half-wit who was ever president (and there were more than a few before Lyin’ Biden) in the same league with Washington. Without him we wouldn’t have a country. With them we’ve sunk.

Squeezing the 2nd Amendment

Lyin’ Biden is a gun grabber who’d like nothing better than to overturn the 2nd. But that would be too hard. He could just squeeze it a bit. Like it’s already been squeezed by my having to report every gun I buy to the FBI. No, not the 2nd in toto, but how about confiscating “assault” rifles? Or 9mm semi-autos? Easy to do by treating those who don’t comply to a freezing of their private bank accounts, including credit cards. Shoot, they’d bring them in themselves. He’s already ignoring the courts restricting his vax mandate. Would he want to risk a popularity rating below 35 percent? Why would he care, as long as law enforcement obeys him, which they would.

Felonia’s Greatest Masterpiece

A hoot plus, from historian Victor Davis Hanson:

“Hillary Clinton by now is an old master of scandals. Her lifelong oeuvre is vast — the cattle futures scam, Rose law firm missing documents, Travelgate, Uranium One shenanigans, missing emails, and the Steele dossier.

“But the ongoing effort of her paid associates to tap into the top-secret communications of a presidential candidate [and the White House] and further use such illicit information to ruin the American presidency will go down as her greatest masterpiece of deceit.”

Mediacrats on the ropes

Well, maybe. Some are, some not so much. But Roger L. Simon makes his usual good case.

Eye Surgery

It’s going to be more complicated than the cataract surgery last time, the retina specialist said this morning. More invasive. Full anesthesia, which is good. I won’t be squinting and damaging more tissue and they won’t have to tie my hands down again. Not messing with the retina, which is fine, just that a retina surgeon has more experience at meticulous work inside the eye. He’s going to try and save the new lens the cataract surgeon installed but may have to replace it, which will take longer. But I won’t care because I’ll be out of it. So we’re off to the races on March 1. Quite an adventure for a surgery virgin

Drudge sucks

It’s a clone of Newsweak, the establishment rag it once scooped on Monica and Slick Willie. Not quite as rotten as it was a few years ago, pounding on Trump every day, but it’s still downplaying (way down) the Durham bombshell of Felonia paying a computer guy to invade the White House servers. Pity.

UPDATE: Issues & Insights was onto this as well: “Yet today, it is the Drudge Report that is Newsweek.”
