Don’t jab the children

So says virologist and medical doctor Robert Malone who says NPR’s recent message for the kiddies that Big Bird had to get jabbed to save Grandma is just perverse. We’re exposing children to risk of side effects like heart disease in order to save the elderly. The latest kabuki from the government, so Moderna and Pfizer can make lots of money. And their politico investors.

Joe Biden Cannot Be Trusted

That’s the headline on an email from Texas Sen. Ted Cruz who goes on to say:

“Listening to Joe Biden speak on ‘voting rights’ in Georgia last week left me speechless. It goes without saying that he doesn’t write his own speeches, but that’s not what bothers me—it’s that he seems perfectly content to read whatever is written for him.”

And then the senator goes on to ask for a dollar or more to help the Republicans take back the Senate. I’m certainly sympathetic to that but I’m not a donor to politics. I wish Cruz the best. I have never trusted Slippery Joe.

UPDATE: Breitbart News reports that Biden’s approval rating in some polls has hit the record low of 40 percent. Fifty-nine percent disapprove.

Upside down justice

“The justice system isn’t really there to protect citizens from criminals. It’s there to protect criminals from citizens. And within limits that’s a good thing, but when you create a state of nature, you get a state of nature. And in the state of nature people absolutely do kill to protect their property from marauders.”

Panic freeze

Now that the weather liars have forecast freezes with possible precipitation on Thursday and Friday nights, some people at Neely’s Canyon are panicking. Thinking back to last February. When water lines all over town froze up and burst such that they flooded when thawed out.

And then were denied water altogether until the pipes were fixed over a week or more. But that takes a hard freeze. Not just hitting the low twenties and bouncing back up but staying there for two or three hours. We’ll see if that happens. But we will comply with dripping faucets on outside walls. Just in case.

UPDATE: Indeed, Friday morning was down to 27 where it stayed for several hours. Not sure that’s really a hard freeze, but time will tell. Hard freezes kill a lot of our bugs, including scorpions. Saturday morning supposed to be even colder, with a possible low of 24.

MORE: Friday morning it fell to 26 and 27 where it again stayed for several hours. Ought to have minimum of bugs this year as a result.

Reiki study

I’ve been looking for scientific studies I’ve heard about and this is one by an RN in Hartford, Connecticut. Enjoy.

“Research has shown that these therapies (often called “mind-body-spirit techniques”) can help decrease anxiety, diminish pain, strengthen the immune system, and accelerate healing, whether by simply inducing the ‘relaxation response’ (and reversing the ‘stress response’ and subsequent impacts on the body, illness, and disease) or, by more complex mechanisms.”
