Here’s my offer: $10 a gallon gas by spring, certainly by summer. The idea is to drive us all to public transportation (buses, light rail, bicycles, etc.) Or electric cars. Unless the Saudis bail us out, but even then the price won’t go down by much.

Most people can’t afford electric cars, nor the replacement of the battery after it craters. Just daily recharging is expensive and takes hours. I am luckily retired. Those that must get to work every day are going to take it in the shorts.

Omicron last gasp of Covid?

I like the speculation that the Omigod variant may be the last gasp of Covid. Virus mutations weaken over time and the Omicron is the weakest yet, causing mainly common cold severity.

$120,000 is average pay for feds

More than, actually.

“In fact, pay for individual federal workers has kept growing each year thanks to both cost-of living raises and “step” increases. The federal pay escalator kept on running right through the recession. Meanwhile, federal workers enjoy job security [civilians] can only dream of.”

Notice none of them lost their jobs over the Wuhan Virus.

Lyin’ Biden underwater

At just 36 percent approval rating, he’s well below snorkel depth. Settin’ a record! Pretty soon he’ll be in a position to see the bellies of whales as they swim by.

Chinese food

We not only ate Chinese on Christmas Day, as is customary for North American Jews, but we ate Chinese on Christmas Eve as well. Orange chicken and fried and white rice and potstickers and spring rolls and beef and broccoli, made by the loving Catholic hands of my sister-in-law and her wife. Love this note from the Net circa 2017:

Which isn’t, actually, about G-d, though he could probably use a good laugh. It’s more about Jews not being able to find any other open restaurants on Christmas Day. Though Jews and Christmas go together pretty well.
