Barry, running well behind Hilarity in the polling for the upcoming Pennsylvania primary, has taken (among others) the advice of VDH, and now is again wearing the American flag lapel pin he doffed last fall as too phony. Actually, VDH suggested Barry smother his campaign stage in American flags, as the only reliable antidote to his racist pastor and mentor, the Rev. Goddamn America. But that was before Barry decided to dis rural Pennsylvanians as "clinging" to God, guns and anti-immigrant attitudes, in what George Will calls an echo of that two-time Dem loser (and fellow Illinoisian) Adlai Stevenson.
