Making a game of it (and winning!)

Texas, looking very much like its old self on defense and improving on offense, leads the Children of the Corn 17-3 at the half. We have a rushing QB in Garrett Gilbert, which is good because his down-field passing is ineffective so far.

And we’ve lost one running back and two outstanding defenders to injuries. If the Horns defense can keep containing Cornhead QB Martinez, they just might win this thing. Won’t that blow the bookies’ minds?

UPDATE:  Sweet, sweet victory! Texas 20-13.
