Happy Women’s Day, Girls

“…if you were born a woman in the West you won life’s lottery. Apart from having longer orgasms and a longer lifespan than men and basically – secretly – being in charge of men, you get more favourable treatment in the courts, you’re more likely to go to university, you benefit from positive discrimination in the workplace…”

James Delingpole at Breitbart

The continuing corruption of science

“…[NOAA] the world’s leading source of climate data rushed to publish a landmark paper that exaggerated global warming and was timed to influence the historic Paris Agreement on climate change.”

Under Barry Hussein’s watch, of course.

From James Delingpole: “What the whistleblowing NOAA insider John Bates has just done is prove beyond reasonable doubt what some of us have long claimed: that from NASA GISS and NOAA across the pond to the UEA and the Met Office’s Hadley Centre, the world’s leading temperature data sets have been hijacked by climate activists and abused to advance a political agenda.”

Scientists are corrupted by government funding, without which they cannot survive, as it comes with a stipulation to be politically correct. Or else. It’s part of the swamp Trump needs to drain. The question is how to do it?

The Hottest Year Evah Nonsense

The television meteorologists and the newspaper scribblers reissue these government handouts every year as if they were gospel instead of political bullshit so fundamentally flawed they don’t deserve to be called science.

“Surface temperature datasets are so flawed (Urban Heat Island effect; poor siting issues; large areas of the world where there is no coverage) as to be untrustworthy,” writes James Delingpole. “Satellite data don’t show nearly the same extreme warming trend: this year’s high temperatures, the result of a strong El Nino, are roughly the same of those as of the (similarly strong) El Nino of 1998.”

“[Where] there is little or no data coverage for most of the world,” writes climate blogger Paul Homewood, “temperature trends are simply made up for large areas, particularly the supposedly fast warming regions like the Arctic.”

Made up? Yes, made up. Extrapolated, as they say in professional-speak, those none-too-scientific scientists, getting fat and living high on the climate-change gravy train powered by your tax money. Championed by such luminaries as the dictator’s club (aka the UN) and actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

“‘Compassionate conservatism’ is the devil’s urine”

Couldn’t have said it better myself. But, then, I’m not James Delingpole.

“And there was I thinking that one of the key facets of conservatism is that it is a practical and honest creed. It’s not about airy-fairy theories about what might work if only we closed our eyes tight enough and said ‘I believe in Tinkerbell.’ It’s about what actually does work in the real world, as demonstrated by hard evidence.

“…see also: the ban on smoking in public places, introduced to prevent the dangers of ‘second-hand smoking’ which, all serious studies show are non-existent…But hey, the government is going to go ahead with it any way.”

Similar to the FCC’s still secret 332-page plan to fix what ain’t broken, i.e. the Internet. Just wait. They’ll see to it that it’ll be broken soon enough.
