Who is Wanda Sykes?

And, frankly, who cares? I must admit I never heard of this woman until the stories started popping up about how she had joked about wishing Rush Limbaugh dead, and Barry was photographed having a good chuckle about it. No surprise on either count. That he would have a joker whack his opponents or that he would have a good laugh over wishing their demise. Better be careful what you wish for, BHO, what goes around…

UPDATE:  Hee. Rush ignores her and her beloved, two-faced president. But, hey, let us not ignore that Wanda has become the mother of twins. More or less. Her "wife" had them? Or something.

Fisking the AP

Somebody certainly should, as they have strayed so far afield from their old, just-the-facts days.

"All of which means, so far, the Democratic-controlled Congress is not only wasting everyone’s time, but again undermining U.S. troops in the field and aiding the enemy with pointless gestures, while the AP distorts the picture through skewed presentation."

You can’t make this stuff up. Jules Crittenden doesn’t have to. He just takes it off the wire.

The real state of the union

Conservative commentator Jules Crittenden has some fun with the speech Bush ought to give:

"So what is the best thing I can do tonight? I can tell you the truth. What none of you want to hear. What you’ve been stopping your ears to. The ugly truth. The State of the Union is a disaster. I did my best, but I made mistakes, and my best wasn’t good enough. We went to war without building up our army, and now, I am trying to make up for that. But that is not the disaster. The disaster is that you, Congress and the American people, do not care to fight."

Which would be funny if it wasn’t so true.
