Dems come unglued

They’re desperate, I tell you. Absolutely desperate over Baby Barry and Old Joe having to face the combination of Mac and Sarah. Faux filmmaker and famous fatso Michael Moore is even celebrating Gustav. He doesn’t care how many the storm kills so long as it disrupts the Repub convention. Old news actually, considering all the lies he’s told in his "documentaries."

UPDATE:  A quick lesson in how an anti-Palin site was set up by one of Baby Barry’s supporters. And, inevitably, she’s being dissed for being a smalltown beauty queen. But by another woman?

MORE: MSM: Mac, "the underdog," is taking a big risk with Sarah. Yeah, $7 million worth in 24 hours!

Sarah’s a lock

The Hilarity Clintonistas are gobsmacked. They should be. So is Reagan’s old political director, Ed Rollins. He should be, too. Forget the nattering MSM. They get no votes and, increasingly, influence none.

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, that is. The additional antidote to Barry-Biden.

It’s Sarah!

Some old school conservatives worry she will take Mac down in flames like Ferraro was blamed for doing to Mondale years ago. But Mondale was running against the Reagan juggernaut, not the lightweight B. Hussein Obama. They also fear the MSM will ridicule her. But, hey, the MSM–whose poll results are lower than Congress and lawyers–has proved it’s already in the tank for Barry.

Sarah’s light years ahead of Dan Quayle, who didn’t stop Daddy Bush. Sarah will do us all proud, and not tell lies about being under sniper fire like Hilarity did. At the end of the day, however, Quayle proves that the veep pick is a concern for only about forty-eight to seventy-two hours. After that it’s back to comparing the nominees, not their veep choices.

MORE: In the meantime, however, ten good reasons why Sarah is a great choice.

Mac’s veep

This would be my choice, and her advantages are quite succinctly put here. And more on the former Miss Wasilla here. But I suppose it’s unlikely, given Palin’s short (two years) time as governor of Alaska. I’d also like Michael Steele, former lieutenant governor of Maryland, and could even stomach Colin Powell. But we’ll see soon enough who Mac has decided it should be. Bound to be better than Biden or Baby Barry.

Palin for veep

Finally, I picked the runaway choice (at least at this hour) in an Instapundit poll: Sarah Palin for Mac’s VP. She makes the Repub ticket "exciting," as Baby Barry supposedly is, and being governor of Alaska, she brings executive experience, as well. I would like Lieberman, just because I like him, but he’s a bit of a retread at this point. I also like Giuliani, who I originally favored for the nomination, but he may be too liberal. I just don’t see any downside with Palin, who is a conservative who brings lots of advantages–such as attracting Hilarity’s female base, for one thing.
