The El Paso Miners are not a good football team, but when Texas teams play Goliath, i.e. the Longhorns, they sometimes surprise themselves and win. They play hard, anyhow. So while I expect Texas to win, it might be close. Definitely closer than last week against Florida International. Again, Burnt Orange Nation’s forum is the best place to visit if you like to follow Longhorn fan commentary, with an occasional troll.
UPDATE: No, winning by 42-13 is not very close, but still closer than the 54-10 last week. Should nevertheless be respectable enough for the Top Ten. I got bored after the first half and stopping watching. I’m sure next week’s game with Arkansas will not be boring, because it is bound to be tougher.
