Sonnentheil House survives

A Galveston landmark, in the city’s East End Historical District, the Sonnentheil House appears to have survived Hurricane Ike handily. And why not? It survived the 1900 hurricane that stripped the island city of many homes, and four others.

    No problems in Austin. No rain at all. What wind there was merely redistributed the leaves on the patio. 😉

    They are predicting more rain up here in the Northeast Kingdom from Ike on Monday and Tuesday then you got in Austin. We do not need it. Have had a very rainy summer. Joe

    Glad to see you’re safe. Indeed, not looking forward to Ike’s temper tantrum now that he’s been broken to mere fragmented storms.
