Obamalot’s latest move against Israel

“…workers at the Dimona reactor who submitted visa requests to visit the United States for ongoing university education in Physics, Chemistry and Nuclear Engineering — have all been rejected, specifically because of their association with the Dimona reactor.”

WordPress is fighting my effort to link to the source of the above, so I’ll put it here, I hope. Obamalot’s move may also be related to this.  Commentary from Roger L. Simon.

UPDATE:  The White House and the State Department are denying it, saying the Maariv newspaper story is inaccurate and there’s been no visas denied.

  1. At this point, you have to think that the whole foreign party apparartus of the US simply has a visceral loathing for Netanyahu.

It’s likely driven by anti-Semitism on the President’s part, but I’m not sure sure what motivates the rest of this hapless crew.

  2. We’re going to be a generation or longer recovering from Obama.

  3. Who will be the Reagan to clean up after Obama/Carter?

Beats me. I thought it might be Palin. Now, I doubt that but have no idea who else.

  5. Palin ain’t done yet.
I think she’s rehabilitating her image, already lots of normal Americans are seeing that she’s smarter than Obama.
And…. Minitru is losing their “objective” label, people know they’ll lie to advance their agenda.

I wouldn’t write her off, Americans are paying attention as never before, it’s easy to fool people who aren’t paying attention, it’s harder to do so when they are paying attention.

And since our fine betters in Minitru have been savaging the tea partiers in the same manner as they’ve savaged Palin, people are noticing. Tea partiers are just people, they’re not activists per se, so when Minitru calls your aunt Thelma a racist idiot, it will make you think about who else they’ve called racist idiots.

Eh, my problem is that I’m really an optimist but I’ve learned paranoia and pessimism, so I have a hard time balancing my innate optimism with my learned, low opinion of human beings.

    Eh, we’ll see.
I am rooting for her. She’s a politician, but she knows what to say and who to mess with.
That’s about all I can ask for.

  6. I won’t click Politico links so do they link to a White House press release or to anything?

If it’s just a Politico assertion, well, they’re particularly untrustworthy.

They’ve been caught before making stuff up to help their God-President, so I don’t think they can be trusted.

  7. Dick Stanley

The Politico story has no press release but is sourced pretty well. I noticed hardly anyone else, including the Jerusalem Post picked up the story, so I assume it isn’t completely true. Maybe someone jumped the gun. I hope that’s all it is.

  8. Yep, so far it’s denied by both sides.

Just in case you didn’t see it at the puppy blender’s.
According to Roger Simon, who called one of the Israelis involved, it’s not new, apparently it’s been a pain since 9/11.

I trust his assertion, he hasn’t been caught lying shamelessly the way Politico has been over and over since they began.

I have no idea why people pay attention to them, they didn’t have decades of a good reputation like the NY Times.
