Burning Korans

I couldn’t care less how many Korans that nitwit pastor in Florida burns. The question I want answered is why have the media and the politicians turned the guy into a celebrity? Are they all in the employ of the oil ticks?

Or, as Thomas Sowell says, has moral preening become their way of life? As he points out you really have to be a modern intellectual to miss the obvious in the proposed mosque at Ground Zero: It is a 15-story middle finger to the country.

  1. Not the point, I think. The point is, it’s another test. The muslims will try anything – if they get what they want through intimidation, they’ll press a bit more, and a bit more, and a bit more, and before you know it, we’ll be their subjects. Which, it seems O’bama and Clinton, and even their pet general want us. Afraid to do anything, because it might upset a friggin’ heathen bastard or two.

  2. Face it, we’re in decline. Barry and Hillarity aren’t, as Sowell says, to blame. They’re just the logicial culmination. Our first affirmative action president and a lying cuckold for secretary of state.

  3. On the mosque issue: I heard that the good imam Rauf already said that he would have backed off, but not now, when the issue of location became a matter of principle.

    As I’ve predicted all along…

  4. You ought to know better.

This is like the threat that if you dare draw a cartoon of Mo we’ll find you and kill you. In other words, do what the Mooselims say or they’ll get mad.

“The good imam Rauf” is getting paid by our State Department to travel the Middle East seeking money to build the mosque. This is the same outfit of overpaid Democrat intellectuals who wants us all to pretend that Hamas is a true partner for peace with Israel.

  5. He woulda backed off if it hadn’t become an issue?

So, if nobody said anything, he would have moved it somewhere else?

How does that make any sense at all? Let’s all get together and have ourselves an Apocalypso, and tally us some bananas.

  6. Heh. Yeah, I think my old pal Mr. Goon had a momentary lapse there. Besides, nothing as controversial as that could possibly not be an issue in this country, whatever the pols and the media say/do.
