Those cowardly Republicans

“Democrat seeking re-election urges IRS to get tougher on non-profit political groups.” Or something like that. The headline of a piece I saw browsing the Web but didn’t click on.

Didn’t need to. Not hard to figure out. The IRS is doing the bidding of the administration and their party, thanks to the indifference of the Democrat-oriented snooze media.

And the cowardly Republican Party. Gad, I’m fed up with those clowns. Cowardly or corrupt, take your pick. Either way they are sitting on their hands. Dropping the ball on Benghazi was bad enough. Allowing the damned IRS to be a political enforcer is insane.

  1. Article 2 of the impeachment bill for Nixon was his purported attempt to use the IRS to pursue his enemies. The IRS refused.

In the case of Obama, the IRS is fully complying. Yet the Congress feels helpless?

  2. The difference was the predominantly Democrat news media holding Nixon’s feet to the fire. They play hardball with Republicans, go to sleep when the Dems are in charge. But the congressional Repubs have subpoena power and they are too cowardly (or corrupt) to use it to at least bring Lerner back and humiliate her again and again

  3. So, how about trying out the Libertarians? After all, the old man is back at home (for now), so nothing will prevent me from cheering them.
