Clinton sought tarmac meeting with Lynch

Interesting.. what the IG report says about the Bill Clinton/AttyGenLoretta Lynch tarmac meeting right before Hillary’s FBI interview:

“On p. 203 of IG report, ‘The OPA (Office of Public Affairs) Supervisor said that he later learned that fmr Pres. Clinton’s Secret Service detail had contacted Lynch’s FBI security detail to let them know that the former Pres. wanted to meet with Lynch.’ —Sharyl Attkisson on Twitter retweeting Alabama journalist Christopher Sign

So much for their chance meeting/talk of family and grandkids. But we didn’t believe that for a minute, did we? And it took a local Alabama journalist to ferret it out and report it. Whassup NYTimes?

Fearing Fart, Barf & Itch

Much as I like to mock the bastards, they still have considerable control over all our lives (but particularly the little people) and seldom fail to use it. The IG’s report provides solid evidence of that. They work in support of the party of government, i.e. the Dems.

“If you worked on Trump’s campaign even peripherally and without pay, shop at Walmart, or are among the 63 million smelly voters who voted for Donald Trump then you better make sure you never come to the attention of this bunch or that you learn every federal law on the books and never, ever make a mistake or cross an ethical line.

“If you do, or can somehow be accused of having done so by anyone in the ‘correct class,’ then you can expect trouble. Perhaps you will awaken to a door breaking down at the crack of dawn with armed agents, or to the news that agents have looted the offices of your attorney to find something, anything against you, or throw you in jail without bail on unrelated charges until you agree to cooperate with them.”

The KGB, in other words. The Gestapo. They spare no one but the elite.

Waiting for Godot

“When will the journalists who bribed FBI officials be arrested? And when will the FBI agents be fired? What is taking so long? —WSJ commenter James Doppelheuer

Plastic bag laws unlawful

The Texas supremes have overruled city anti-plastic bag laws. Does this mean we’ll be back to free baggies? Not likely, now that grocers like HEB are making money off selling bags. Besides the cities will just rewrite their anti-bag laws to comply with the supremes. Wait and see.

The clown show continues

“Current [FBI] Director Christopher Wray responded to the IG’s report at a press conference and promised there’d be consequences for bad behavior. But he also said, ‘nothing in this report impugns the integrity of our workforce as a whole or the FBI as an institution.’ Like hell it doesn’t. What the report describes is a morally bankrupt clown show, and the fact that Wray won’t admit that means the show goes on.”

Wray sounds like what federal Judge Amy Berman denied in sentencing former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort to jail without bail on far less important matters: “This isn’t middle school. I can’t take away your phone.”

Wray sounds just like a middle school teacher, not the head of the discredited clown show called the FBI. Fart, Barf & Itch, indeed!

After all, then-Obama FBI director James Comey was violating the law just like Hillary was: “While Comey was investigating Hillary Clinton for using her personal email to conduct State Department business,  ‘Comey used a personal email account (a Gmail account) to conduct FBI business.’ (pg. 427)…”

UPDATE:  President Trump told FoxNews that Comey’s having his own private, off-the-books email account for official business (just like Hillary) was not the most interesting item of the IG report but certainly “the funniest.”

The farce that has to end

“As retired FBI special agent Thomas Baker wrote on these pages last month (“The FBI’s Shocking Disrespect for Congress,” May 11), the FBI has damaged its credibility by flouting subpoenas and slow-rolling or hiding information. This behavior is why Congress must continue to pry out the truth.”

Deputy AG Ron Rosenputz’s recent threat to subpoena congressional staff is a good place to start. Fire the SOB, Mr. President, then order all documents released immediately.

UPDATE: One of the curious things the IG report found was the extent of leaks to the snooze media by literally scores of FBI personnel. In a curious reversal of the old norm of reporters being wined and dined: “FBI employees received tickets to sporting events from journalists, went on golfing outings with media representatives, were treated to drinks and meals after work by reporters, and were the guests of journalists at nonpublic social events…”

When a leak is an obstruction of justice

When it’s a leak by the Special Counsel Mueller’s office to try an obstruction of justice case in the lapdog media rather than a court of law.

“Unfortunately for them [the] majority will not be bothered with detailed legalese letter one set of lawyers sent to another set of lawyers. The sound of collective public yawn is deafening.” —commenter Janna Blantner at Power Line Blog.
