Let’s ruin the Dims

“There was massive fraud. Whether there was sufficient fraud to determine the outcome is beside the point. Large parts of the Democratic Party are criminal organizations and have to be held accountable. Take a cold shower and a deep breath, and prepare for a long war. Ask yourself if you want to win, or just let off steam… Civil suits have been litigated successfully against vote fraud for years. Thousands of such suits would ruin the Democrats.”

You will bend the knee

Amazon cuts off Parler’s Web hosting following Apple, Google bans.

I had just started trying to join Parler. Was having problems setting up an account. Heard was because so many were bailing out of Twitter. Now Big Tech is trying to give Trump and us supporters no voice on the Net. Eventually this will be fought in court but meanwhile, well, for me there’s Gab. Which went through this Parler shit without going to court. And survived.

UPDATE: “And most people with enough servers to host us have shut their doors to us,” Matze added. “We will update everyone and update the press when we are back online.”

MORE: Parler sues Amazon. It’s a start.

Stormin’ the Capitol

Unlike various talking heads, you know the usual suspects of the Fake News, I’m happy to see the storming of the Capitol, the lockdown, and escorting the pols out. Nobody’s been shot, nobody’s dead, just a vivid illustration of how you can’t steal a presidential election without protests. The debates inside over objections to Arizona’s election, were interesting, but will ultimately be futile. Not so the protests. They energize.

UPDATE: For all they huff and puff about law and order, these are the clowns who gave $600 Stimulus checks to working people who have lost their homes, their businesses, their minds after months of lockdowns and fear-mongering. It was all predictable and, naturally, the pols weren’t prepared. They never are. Too busy pocketing the lobby’s money.

MORE: One woman “who was shot” inside the Capitol has died. No details on who shot her or why.

MORE: A witness says the police shot her. Figures.

AND…A Capitol cop dies from injuries when someone threw a fire extinguisher at him. Just want to make sure to be fair. The other four deaths of protestors were from medical emergencies apparently unrelated to what was going on.

Delay indicates loss

District Judge Amy Meachum has taken all day on a hearing to overturn Mayor Adler’s orders to close bars and restaurants at the peak time of their business tonight, from 10:30 pm until 6 a.m. on New Year’s Day. An all-day hearing doesn’t bode well, if history counts, for the governor’s bid to overturn the orders. But having won a similar case against El Paso County, the state isn’t likely to give up.

UPDATE: Indeed, the state lost, Covid won. Not a good look for a Republican governor.

MORE: Then, 24 hours too late, the state won on appeal. Guess Adler won’t be doing it again.

Electoral ballot challenge

I’m not ignoring it, as it heats up over the Elephants preparing to object to ballot counting, I’m just not paying it much attention until we get down to the wire on January 6—as the Donkeys have taken the process in years past. Including against Trump’s election in 2016. And lost.

If it’s not circumvented somehow, the new challenge has the potential to keep Trump in the White House for another four years. But how likely is that given the politics and the players involved? So I’m not getting excited about it. Yet.

Governor vs Mayor

Austin Mayor Steve Adler (of Cabo, Mexico vacation fame) has issued an “order” for bars and restaurants to shutter at 10:30 p.m. on New Year’s eve or face a $1K fine, supposedly to prevent the spread of the CCP virus.

Gov. Gregg Abbott says the mayor’s order is illegal because it violates Abbott’s executive order GA-32 which prevents Texas cities from arbitrarily shuttering businesses. Da Mayor has yet to respond. A judge is expected to rule on Thursday.

Stealing the election

Well worth a listen even though it’s more than 30 minutes long. Puts in a nutshell all but the Dominion systems fraud.
