The crook versus the racist

So some are styling the coming presidential election. The crooked Hildabeast versus the racist Trump. Gonorrhea or syphilis.

Except I think most people of whatever political stripe do believe that she’s a crook whereas whether he’s a racist or not entirely depends on your political viewpoint.

If Trump’s various tweeting peccadillos are racist, well, that’s the sort of nonsense the Democrat news media hangs on every Republican nominee every four years. If his alleged intention to build a wall on the southern border to at least slow down the waves of new, mainly-Hispanic illegals is racism, well shet my mouf and call me a racist, too, ’cause I’m all for the wall. The higher the better. Not that I ever expect to see one—certainly not in the Rio Grande Valley.

But it’s obvious to me (and I think to most Democrats in their heart of hearts) that Mrs. Clinton is incredibly corrupt. Lying and thieving. And her husband and their daughter (barely out of college and worth $15 million already) and their entourage. Not to mention our little Barry Hussein and AG Lynch. Perhaps Comey as well.

But only the Hildabeast is running for president. If she wins she will go down in history as the most corrupt president—even before she takes the oath. Fortunately it won’t really make all that much difference. Not even eight years of her.

As National Review’s Kevin D. Williamson puts it so well: “Yes, it matters who the president is, but not as much as we think. It matters what the character of our government is and who we entrust to run it, but not as much as we think. Jackass A or Jackass B will do his or her worst, to be sure, and the damage will be both real and painful, but America will go on, because America doesn’t actually need these jackasses as much as Americans think.”

Nor the furriners who have no vote and wring their hands over it all from a distance.

The end of the rule of law

None, unless, like her and her friends, you’re a member of the political elite. It’s naked, crony government, ugly and exposed. Time for Irish Democracy, folks! Silent, dogged resistance. Truculent, passive withdrawal. Rub their uplifted, powdered noses in their own shit.

UPDATE:  Austin Bay is peeved.

Actually, Comey convicted her

From commenter John Henry at Althouse:

“First he told us that all the stuff that Hilary was supposed to have done? Yup, she did it. And here’s a couple more things you didn’t know about. He pronounced her guilty.

“Then he said ‘Forget it Jake. It’s Chinatown.’ Oops, no. He didn’t quite use those words. He said:

“‘To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions. But that is not what we are deciding now.

“What I hear him saying is ‘She broke all sorts of laws that anyone else would get in deep shit for. But, you know, Hilary. Not even I can touch her.'”

UPDATE:  And, having done such a devastating job laying out the evidence against her, Comey’s may have been only the first shoe to drop.

Here’s a real Independence Day

To the Hildabeast, Slick Willie and our little Barry Hussein: Fuck off.

“The attorney general secretly canoodles with the husband of the subject of criminal investigation by her own department and the president, the enforcer of our laws, shrugs. The media, the challenger of the powerful, smirks. They rub our noses in their contempt for the law. And by doing so, demonstrate their contempt for us…

“We are not all equal before the law. Our constitutional rights are not being upheld. We are not being defended – hell, we normals get blamed every time some Seventh Century savage goes on a kill spree. Yet we’re still supposed to keep going along as if everything is cool, obeying the law, subsidizing the elite with our taxes, taking their abuse.”

To the Hildabeast, Slick Willie and our little Barry Hussein: We owe you nothing. Not respect. Not loyalty. Not obedience. Try running a country whose citizens pay you no mind. No mind at all.

UPDATE:  Far as I’m concerned, Famous But Incompetent’s decision today not to prosecute the Hildabeast was no surprise. The way things work in Washington these days, it was only to be expected. And in no way does it change any of the foregoing.

Acupuncture & massage

Began last week acupuncture sessions for general health and this week likewise Asian Body Work massage. Both at AOMA in North Austin. Both at the instigation of a friend who has found treatment success with them for her incurable Addison’s Disease.

AOMA (Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine Academy) is a store-front graduate school for acupuncture and Chinese medicine in a shopping center on Anderson Lane. My acupuncturist is a licensed pro from China, but the body work therapist was a young Anglo-American student transitioning from teaching math to special ed kids in the Austin public schools.

Maybe after my second acupuncture session Friday I’ll have a better feeling for what it’s doing. The first time I only felt like a human pin cushion from head to ankles. It didn’t hurt, it just felt strange, even a little warm where the hair-thin needles were placed in my legs to, as they said, stimulate increased production of hormones.

The massage results were more obvious. Very relaxing. Twenty-four hours later I still feel loose-limbed. I did think she had dinged my left shoulder, which was achy about six hours later. But this morning that’s gone. Worth a second session next week.

It isn’t expensive, $75 for the acupuncture with a veteran’s discount of $10. They seem to offer the veteran discount because the Army, for one, takes acupuncture more seriously than some health  insurance companies do. The massage was only $20, with the veteran discount and the fact that it was done by a student.

UPDATE:  Second acupuncture sessions went well. No apparent results yet but I got in thirty minutes of concurrent breath meditation. Massage I’m going to have to find elsewhere at more cost. The students aren’t always available. Next one I could schedule won’t be until July 20.

Walkin’ the dog

Trump’s great riff on the Hildabeast. In three-part harmony. Saying all the things we’d love to say in public ourselves.

“He specifically took her and Bill Clinton to task for taking millions from Saudi Arabia and other countries that criminalize homosexuality. Trump suggested Clinton as president would be influenced by all the lobbyists, CEOs and foreign governments who paid the Clintons to give speeches over the years. ‘They totally own her and that will never, ever change,’ he said.”

Full transcript. Gotta read the transcripts, folks. The Clinton-backing Democrat media will only cherrypick what they think they can disprove.

Give us our way or we’ll cry

Naw, they’re not real crybabies. They’re just pols agitating to deny due process to people who might want to buy guns. And they’re so old they’re going to have a real hard time standing up again. Heh.

UPDATE: WSJ didn’t find it funny. “Democrats will ride to November on a protest politics that is antithetical to self-government, but they do America no good by bringing the methods of the bullying radical left to America’s House.” Besides, they look stupid sitting on the floor like toddlers.
