Roe v Wade aborted

The Supremes did as expected and removed federal sanction of abortion, but not making it illegal only turning the issue back to the states. Some, like California and New York, probably will continue the practice. Others, probably like Texas, will make it illegal.

UPDATE: Abortion will be illegal in Texas in thirty days, pursuant to a “trigger law” passed in June, 2021.

Lyin’ Biden’s takeover of elections

“President Biden really does not want the public to know about his [unconstitutional] federal takeover of [state and local] election administration. Dozens of members of Congress have repeatedly asked for details, to no avail. Good government groups, members of the media, and private citizens have filed requests under the Freedom of Information Act. Not a single one has been responded to. All signs indicate a concerted effort to keep the public in the dark until at least after the November midterm elections. The lack of transparency and responsiveness is so bad that the Department of Justice and some of its agencies have been repeatedly sued for the information.”

Meanwhile, he’s diverting attention by bankrupting Americans with his high gas prices and inflation. He’s a tyrant.

The Supremes expand gun rights

It’s instructive to read the court’s opinions on their decision to expand gun rights while Congress is attempting to limit them. Of course those opposed to gun rights in the first place are upset.

“The majority opinion, authored by Justice Clarence Thomas, held that New York’s ‘proper cause’ requirement for obtaining a concealed carry license violated the Constitution because it ‘prevents law-abiding citizens with ordinary self-defense needs from exercising their right to keep and bear arms’ in public.”

Lyin’ Biden finds the ruling discouraging, but who cares what the author of high gas prices and inflation generally wants.

The Uvalde cops waited

Tony Plohetski, an investigative reporter for the Austin-American Statesman [& KVUE], tweeted a picture showing [Uvalde] police stationed outside the classroom where more than a dozen children were murdered. The officers, armed with rifles and at least one ballistic shield, were in the hallway near the classroom at 11:52 a.m.—58 minutes before [federal Border Patrol cops] breached the locked classroom, and 19 minutes after the gunman entered the school. At 12:03 p.m. a second officer with a ballistic shield arrived, followed by a third a few minutes later.”

Utterly disgraceful behavior. Hardly protectors of the community, just bureaucrats with guns.

UPDATE: The Uvalde schools police chief has been put on administrative leave. Should be fired.

Conspiracy

“So those high prices for gasoline and the long, chaotic lines and canceled flights at the airports are not a bug, they’re the lynchpin of the whole scheme, which is itself part and parcel of the entire Great Reset project. In order for the Lords of Davos to control you they must first curtail and control your freedom of movement, and what better way to do that than to make the price of oil prohibitively expensive? First your cars stop moving, then the trucks that deliver almost everything of value, including food, to the stores. An inability to move freely and without government oversight will vanish as computers take over your automobiles and which, when they are fully electric, can be disabled at will. As they like to say: You’ll own nothing, and you’ll be happy.”

Texas GOP endorsement

They screened “2000 mules” at their state convention the other night and then the largest state GOP in the nation passed a resolution rejecting “the certified results of the 2020 Presidential election, and we hold that acting President Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. was not legitimately elected by the people of the United States.”

Restricting AR-15 ammo

Have to say that Lyin’ Biden, for all he acts and is seen as stupid, is pretty smart attacking the makers of the AR-15’s principal ammo, the 5.56 cartridge. And I think Armalite created the problem by making their semi-auto hunting rifles look like full-autos and hence be called assault rifles by the media.

“Last night, news broke that the Biden Administration is taking behind-the-scenes steps to further strangle the already constricted market for ammunition in the United States. The move could result in a reduction of the commercial production of 5.56 caliber ammunition by over thirty percent.

“The move, if completed, would dramatically reduce availability of ammunition for America’s most popular rifle (and, not coincidentally, the one most targeted by gun prohibitionists).”

First, you made it look military, then the Democrats started calling it a weapon of war because it looked like one. Not that anyone has gone to war with a semi-auto since World War II.
