More climate change shuck

Climate change ought to be a debate but is buried under so many tons of political, scientist and celebrity bullshit that the best it draws from most critics is a healthy snort.

Hey, “Hans Solo” is fighting to save the planet. Gosh I’m impressed. Aren’t you?

Me, I prefer the acerbic like Mark Steyn, a bold marauder if there ever was one. Only weak arguments, Steyn notes, require the muzzling of their opponents. Yep.

Especially when the “solution” to this weak argument is frightening in itself.

Fortunately, our Little Barry Hussein has as much influence on this as he does generally, i.e. none.

UPDATE:  Lurch,  our halfwit secretary of state and, not incidentally, the husband of a ketchup heiress, calls for the public shaming of climate change deniers: his master’s preferred alternative to proof or debate.

The “warmest temperature recorded” shuck

One of our local television station’s meteorology departments prints on their phone app the latest federal climate change do-dah, without any perspective at all: warmest October evah. Well, recorded, at any rate. Getting a little more serious with the claims, but not much.

Poppycock says a host of scientists: “Greenpeace Co-Founder Dr. Patrick Moore: ‘We are dealing with pure political propaganda that has nothing to do with science.'”

The climate change shuck

Our Barry Hussein even got the Pope to chime in on the horrors of climate change. What they never mention is that while we will be cutting back on our use of the electricity we can no longer afford, Asia is plowing ahead with coal.

“The net outcome of this charade, in my opinion, is Western politicians are committing to skyrocketing energy prices and unworkable renewables schemes, inanely celebrating that everyone is onboard with their lunacy, while at the same time, China and Japan are busy helping their Asian neighbours make coal power even cheaper.

Barry, apparently, will be retiring in temperature-steady Hawaii while the Pope gets back behind the fortress walls of the Vatican where who knows what occurs in the energy game.

Surely not austerity. Austerity is not for the elites. Austerity is for the little people.
