Another reason I voted for him

I enjoyed watching a few of his rallies on YouTube during the campaign. I will be sure to watch these as well. And hope he draws out a few crazy flag burners even if they are pummeled by the faithful. The Democrat lapdog media’s apoplexy will be fun to watch for about three minutes.

UPDATE:  RedState, which I used to think of as conservative, puts the worst possible spin on this, claiming that Trump’s ego is so big he needs the rush of his campaign rallies one more time. The positive spin, of course, is that he draws energy from his supporters, learned a lot about the country in his campaign travels and wants to maintain the fly-over country perspective as he tries to fulfill his promises.

Fidel, food for the worms at last

I briefly dated a girl in high school whose beloved grandparents had been murdered by the Castro regime. Saddest person I’d met up to that time and I’d been to the funeral of another classmate whose father had died of alcoholism.

I think of her every time I hear about that scumbag dictator Fidel, especially tonight hearing about his death at age 90. Only about 55 years too late for my friend. Pity he didn’t die decorating a lamp post.

I hope our little Barry Hussein has the good sense not to attend his funeral. But after eight years it’s pretty obvious that good sense and Barry aren’t too well acquainted.

UPDATE:  Fellow travelers at MSNBC, CNN and ABC praise the  murderous dictator for alleged successes. Fake news disguised as real news by professionals at fakery.

Rule 5: Melania Trump

The Lady Culture has been kaput for at least a generation. So the notion of a First Lady is nonsensical as well as smacking of monarchy, the very thing the American Republic was supposed to be against. So it’s probably fitting that the wife of our latest president has modeled nude. I prefer this half-clad photo and a few others of her which I’ll post later on. A bit skinny for my taste. But fetching.

Merkel: Censor Internet to stop more Trumps

Curious that our little Barry Hussein’s proclaimed last European trip as president was to Germany where embattled chancellor Angela Merkel called for government control of the Internet which she implied was responsible for a “wave” of right-wing politics that “engulfs us.”

“Digitization is a disruptive technological force that brings about deep-seated change and transformation in society. Look at the history of the printing press, when this was invented what kind of consequences it had. Or industrialization, what consequences that had.”

Germany’s Zeit newspaper called for Web controls to prevent “a German Donald Trump.” Britain’s Independent published a list of “fake” news sites they claimed may have “swayed votes towards Donald Trump.” One of them was Breitbart News, which the Hagzilla, always in need of a new boogeyman to disguise her intentions, claimed during her losing presidential campaign is part of the “white supremicist” alt-right.

How The Democrats Lost The White Working Class

“These voters are Democrats by birth, a tradition carried on from New Deal-Democrat paternity who fundamentally started breaking with their party when they began cutting them loose after flirting with their support during the 2006 midterm elections. It’s been a decade since they offered voters moderate Democratic candidates.

“Since then white, traditional-values, working-class, predominantly male voters have been severed from their party so they could build an urban- and cosmopolitan-centered coalition of minorities, elites and women.”

Which is why the Democrat party today is a smoldering hulk of finger-pointing bitterness: The Media wasn’t loyal enough. The FBI was fascist. Racism. Got to be Racism. Sexism. That’s the ticket. Hahahaha. Losers.

Electoral vs “Popular” Votes

It’s disconcerting, the idea that a presidential candidate can win the “popular vote” and still lose the election. But thus has been our system from the beginning: each state’s electoral votes, based on population not party, determine the outcome. And thank goodness for that.

If the “popular vote” was all a candidate needed, then those states heavily invested by one party or the other would carry the day for all of us. California and New York are Democrat and Trump supporters there, for instance, know it. So why should they bother to stand in line to vote when their vote would mean little? Thus the “popular vote” is undermined.

Clinton apparently won the “popular vote” because voters in heavily populated places like New York and California overwhelmingly voted for her. Trump won the presidency because his votes were spread more evenly across the country and he won many more states, and their electoral votes, though some by a slim margin.

And each of their electoral votes, though smaller than California’s and New York’s, added up to more electoral votes for him. So when the ever-clueless news media makes a whoop-de-do out of her winning the “popular vote,” just remember what it means. The majority of the states voted for Trump not for her.

Down a short rope

To paraphrase an old Irish Republican Army toast:
Up a long ladder
And down a short [rope]
To hell with Queen Hillary
And all of her hope
If that don’t work
We’ll jail her ass
and send her to hell
with all of her class.
