Vote fraud efficiency

In Cook County, Illinois, i.e. Chicago, voter fraud is down to a science. When you vote Republican, the voting software automatically switches your vote to the Democrat. Now why couldn’t they get those Obamacare web sites to work, eh?

Dallas nurse infused with Ebola antibodies

Well, that’s my former-medical-writer conclusion after reading this old report about how American ebola survivor Kent Brantley has donated blood to three ebola patients, including Dallas nurse Nina Pham. At the latest report, she is in fair condition in a D.C.-area hospital, presumably part of the National Institutes of Health in Maryland, where she is Skyping her folks back home in Fort Worth.

I still don’t understand why they moved her up there when there are no specific treatments for ebola anywhere, it being a virus not a bacterium. Except for the transfusion of Brantley’s antibodies but that could have been done in Texas. Nor why it appears that Emory U. hospital in Atlanta—where infected Dallas nurse Amber Vinson was moved—recently released at least one secret, recovered ebola patient. How many more secret ebola patients are in the U.S.? I suppose President Obola’s no-medical-training, all-politics ebola “czar” will see to it that we won’t find that out until after the election. Politics being his obvious expertise.

Meanwhile at least 43 other quarantined people exposed to Vinson and Pham seem to have been released without any problems, though they did not do the whole recommended quarantine period of 42 days. The closed-for-cleaning Belton schools up the road from the Rancho also have reopened, which is encouraging.

So the Texas scare seems to be over for the present, thankfully, except for the usual scumbags concocting pitiless scams on Texas fears about it for their own pathetic amusement. May they rot in hell.

UPDATE:  And more good news. Dallas will no longer be initially receiving travelers from Ebola-outbreak countries in West Africa. Nor will any other Texas airport. Since Oct. 16, the federal DHS has quietly restricted them to JFK, Dulles, Newark, O’Hare, and Atlanta airports for screening before going elsewhere in the country. On the other hand:

“Can the Transportation Security Administration be reliably trusted to do health checks on inbound passengers from West Africa? The question answers itself. Hence the need for a travel ban.”

MORE: On Oct. 24, both Texas nurses Pham and Vinson were declared recovered, the antibodies infusions apparently doing the trick.

Democrats refused to help Israel find a missing soldier

The most pro-Israel American presidential administration ever? So the Democrats would have you believe of President Obola and his secretive and duplicitous crew.

An Israeli newspaper’s investigation shows otherwise.

Last summer, during Israel’s battle with rocket-firing Hamas in Gaza, the administration not only held up transfers to Israel of Hellfire missiles (and all ordinary munition resupply as well) for several, potentially crucial days, it also ordered the FBI not to cooperate in helping locate a missing IDF soldier.

The Israel Defense Force now believes Staff Sergeant Oron Shaul was dead all along but Hamas said he was alive and taunted the Israeli public with its worst nightmare (a kidnapped soldier from its conscript army) with details from his Facebook page:

“On July 22, as international news reports carried Hamas’ claim of  Shaul’s capture, the IDF really had no idea whatsoever what happened to the Israeli soldier. The only statement made by the IDF at that point was that Shaul was missing in action. Even two days later, the IDF still did not know if Shaul had been kidnapped by Hamas or whether he was dead.”

So, because the IP address hosting Shaul’s Facebook page was in the U.S., the IDF asked the FBI to help locate whoever (presumably Hamas) had gotten into the page. FBI agents immediately agreed to help and were moving on it when they were ordered by their own senior management to stop.

“Senior law enforcement officials, on condition of anonymity, have told me that the withdrawal of authority to the FBI to retrieve the Facebook records for Israel came from the [U.S.] Attorney General’s office,” Steven Emerson wrote in Israel Hayom.

In other words, from Eric Holder, Wormtongue’s close friend and trusted operative, a wellknown Democrat skunk in his own right already held in contempt of Congress on other matters.

UPDATE:  Unidentified “senior officials in the American administration,” on Sunday (Oct. 18) denied declining to help Israel in the matter of the missing soldier, according to Haaretz. The left-wing newspaper put a right-left spin on the report in Israel Hayom accusing anti-Obama rightists of fomenting the issue. The Times of Israel, picking up the Haaretz report, added that the IDF and prime minister’s office had declined to comment on the subject. So take your pick on who to believe.

President Obola’s gift to Texas

Texas Ebola moving south?

I sure hope not but the Belton Independent School District is southwest of Temple, which is a lot closer to the Rancho than Dallas. And three of their elementary and middle schools were closed today and will remain so on Friday for cleaning.

Why? Because at least one of their students was aboard the Frontier Airlines flight from Cleveland that carried Dallas nurse Amber Vinson, lately diagnosed with Ebola and currently residing at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

Joe Brown, principal of North Belton Middle School wrote parents today that the one student is being monitored by the county and state health authorities and so far hasn’t developed any symptoms. He doesn’t explain why three schools are closed and being cleaned over one student. As usual, more questions than answers.

UPDATE:  Looks to be plenty more possibles where this student came from, i.e. Amber’s fellow passengers on not one but two Frontier Airlines flights.

MORE:  The daily reported Friday that there are two kids involved at Belton, ages 13 and 8. Still doesn’t explain why three schools are closed. Meanwhile, the daily reported, there’s a Georgetown man who was on Vinson’s flights and he’s self-quarantined. Georgetown’s a lot closer to the Rancho in Austin than Belton is.

AND:  Dozens of possible cases in Dallas have now been cleared. Hopefully the clearances will also work their way south.

Not to worry Dallas. After six years of Obozo and his merry men running the country, you know we’re all in good hands when it comes to Ebola. They’ll have this epidemic licked in no time.

Why, the White House court media already is confident of the outcome.

UPDATE: Second nurse, third Dallas case, got CDC permission before she flew. Isn’t that precious? And notice that all we’re hearing about is her flight from Cleveland to Dallas, not how she got to Cleveland in the first place. I suppose we can rule out a train.

You can’t win wars from the air

As Barry-the-bumbler is learning in Iraq and Syria, probably to his chagrin, unless you buy the dubious notion that he wants the Islamists to win. Result: the fighter-bombers bomb and the ISIS infantry takes a Kurdish town and threatens Baghdad.

You can come pretty close to winning, however, as the Israelis did recently against Hamas, if you have enough troops on the ground to pick your targets for you.

Even the Iraqis want American ground troops back now, having stupidly pushed them out just five months ago. We could let them stew, of course, longer than Barry boy will do until the election’s over. But we’ll go back eventually.

That was a given, even back in June. It just happened faster than envisioned.
