Public art: “Arid and ugly”

I could roll out dozens of examples but you’ve probably seen a few dozen yourself: giant nuts and bolts, swooping whatevers, steel beams colored to look… And to think they were promoted by the Soviet Union.

“…in the 1930s members of CPUSA (the Communist Party of the USA) got instructions from Moscow to promote non-representational art so that the US’s public spaces would become arid and ugly.

“…the Soviets, following the lead of Marxist theoreticians like Antonio Gramsci, took very seriously the idea that by blighting the U.S.’s intellectual and esthetic life, they could sap Americans’ will to resist Communist ideology and an eventual Communist takeover.”

And now we not only have “arid and ugly” public art but we have several serious political candidates pushing socialism beyond the Social Security System we’re all used to. Despite socialist Venezuala’s ongoing collapse. Not so laughable is it?

I’m not justifying it, and when a person gets caught through the ordinary course of checking, they certainly deserve to be punished.But that is not what happened. Because Cohen was a former attorney for Donald Trump, Mueller’s team of thugs inspected him with a fine tooth comb. Not too surprisingly, they found something and were able to use the tax charges to extract a guilty plea for something that wasn’t even a provable crime—failure to declare a campaign benefit.

“It is called a witch hunt. If you support that approach to justice, you may be next.”

“Democrats are now the party of the rich! Not all kinds of rich people, of course. Mostly so-called ‘creative class’ types in the coastal regions, in tech, finance, and entertainment. People who make things out of raw materials—not so much.”

Because those people have turned Republican. They’re why Trump won and may go on winning this year and in 2020. And may be joined by Trump-backed Tea Party types as the establishment GOP is defeated. Because the working class get out and vote, while the coastal “rich” often can’t be bothered.

The #WalkAway Movement

“In 2016, the Democrat media complex ignored the massive grassroots movement that came out in support for Trump, dismissing his massive rallies and popularity online as somehow insignificant. Now they are dismissing the #WalkAway campaign as a propaganda movement. Once again, something genuine and significant is happening across the nation, and it’s getting ignored or ridiculed by media elites. It doesn’t matter. Like a snowball rolling downhill, the movement is getting bigger and bigger with each day and there’s nothing an elite can do to stop it.”

Only independent journalists (and their editors) are capable of discerning new things. The Mediacrats are anything but independent.

Schumer needs help

Sugar & starch

Sugar and starch, both of which our grandmothers warned us not to eat too much of if we didn’t want to get fat. And now we encounter sugar in almost everything we eat and often starch as well. So much for the obesity epidemic.

So watch those hot dogs (sugar) and buns (starch & sugar) today!
