Rule 5: The first couple

Holding hands as usual, despite all the trash-talking by the Mediacrats who libel/slander her as being held a prisoner in the White House.

Schumer needs help

Democrat Sen. Charles Schumer, the minority leader of the U.S. Senate has gone over the falls into the deep end of the maniac pool.

“President Trump should not meet with President Putin alone,” Schumer ominously tweeted.

Sure, Chuckles. Now get yourself some mental health help, please, before you hurt yourself or someone else.

Trump is slaying Democrats

“The utter self immolation of the Democratic party should be sign enough that Trump is doing a great job. Only two years ago, we were about to elevate a criminal to the highest office in the land, moving to leftist control over every institution in America.

“Trump is different, sure. He is braggadocios, sure. But he is getting results. And the left is spiraling downward. Their hate and venom is being displayed all over and confirming to most Americans that they did the right thing in putting Trump in office.

“The deplorables understand Trump.”—-commenter etbass at Althouse

Yep, we do.

The Supremes cleaned Bronco’s clock

So far President Trump is winning in the supreme court. That could change, as presidents seldom win more than two-thirds of their cases. But Trump will have to lose a lot more to equal Bronco Bama’s dismal record:

“Over the course of the 84 terms and 13 [modern] presidents in our dataset, presidents prevailed in nearly two-thirds of their cases (and captured 60 [percent] of all votes). By comparison, the states won significantly fewer of their cases during the same period (53 [percent]).”

“Comparatively, Obama’s performance was ‘especially poor.’ ‘He prevailed in just 50.5 [percent] of his cases—a percentage slightly lower than the states’ win rate while Obama was in office (55.4 [percent]).”

Giving Bronco the worst record of any president in modern history. So much for his reputation as a constitutional scholar, the smartest man in the room. He wasn’t even close.

The Texas-Mexico border: Safe and sound

“Our southern border is safe and sound. That’s what I found tracing it by bicycle. The one thing I didn’t find on the border that I expected to find everywhere, growing like scrub brush in the desert, was anger. I assumed Mexicans would be angry with Americans, intruders like me. I assumed Texans would be angry with Mexicans. I was wrong on both counts. These are generous people with centuries of a shared culture.”

A good read.

Telling the truth in three-quarter time

Amazing how the G7 kibitzers (and their elitest clones in the media) got all bent at Trump simply telling the truth about tariffs and other trade barriers.

“Trump is right that most countries protect their agricultural industries with tariff and non-tariff barriers. (The EU’s ban on GMO crops is an example of a non-tariff barrier that is rational only as an act of protectionism.) The U.S. has the most efficient agricultural sector in the world, and since most countries can’t compete with our farmers, they erect trade barriers. How is this any different from our imposing tariffs on steel or automobiles? It isn’t.

“Does Canada actually impose a 270% tariff on American dairy products, as Trump keeps saying? Yes, it does, according to the Canadian Broadcasting Company:

Canada levies a tariff of 270 per cent on milk, 245 per cent on cheese and 298 per cent on butter in an effort to keep imports out and tightly control supply.

“So Trump is right. A world without tariffs is a desirable goal, but a world in which the U.S. has no tariffs, but other countries erect barriers to our products, is not.”

But the G7 bigwigs meet to party, not to tell the truth. And truth-tellers are not welcome. Especially not in the snooze media. It interrupts their snoozing.

You can’t make this up

President Trump slammed the fake news for its conspiracy theories about his wife. Naturally he had to give some examples. That set the NYSlimes off:

“…repeating the kind of unfounded rumors about his wife that would normally attract legal action from him and his notoriously litigious family.”

Anything to continue the Mediacrats’ criticism narrative, eh?
