Obama don’t love nothin’ but Obama

And the Democrat media knows it very well and, being Democrats, they can’t stand anyone telling the truth about them and their party. Which is why they went ape over Rudy G.’s calling out Wormtongue’s obvious disdain for the country.

Which he has shown over and over again, in ways large and small, for six years now. And will once again this week when he directs his FCC to take over the Internet. ‘Cause nobody can run anything like him and his cronies. Or should.

Thank goodness Rudy had the guts to double down instead of playing the usual so-sorry-game. And let’s hope this is just the first salvo of many more to come between now and November ’16. The Republicans can’t win by ignoring the obvious.

UPDATE:  Joining Rudy in sanity for a change.

Blacks and Hispanics: oil and water

J.D.’s post over at Mouth of the Brazos about his Hispanic wife’s run-in with two black women at Walmart is illustrative of the way these two groups often don’t get along. I’m sure there are exceptions. Howsomeever.

“The black women ‘asked her where something was. When she told them she did not work there, they got irate. Said, ‘Why don’t  you [f ‘ ing] Mexicans all swim your ass back across the river?….’

“She replied, ‘Why don’t your people get back on the boats in chains and head back to Africa?””

I did leave some parts out. Like what J.D. says is the missus’s normally apologetic attitude towards blacks. What the heck. You can read that part at the link below. I just think the foregoing is a lot more reflective of reality. That is if everybody was as quick with the comeback as J.D.’s wife.

Southerners love blacks more than Northerners do. Nobody in the world hates them more deeply than Southerners, too. Quoting the always-candid Southern writer Barry Hannah.

Hispanics/Mexicans are cool. Most of them work. Nuff said.

Snow in Jerusalem

Prayers at the Western Wall continue even as the snow falls. Up to 40 centimeters (almost 16 inches) were expected overnight into Friday morning.

Liking Scott Walker even more

Now that the WaPo and the NYTimes, two of the most famous Democrat Party lapdogs, have done the dirty on Scott Walker I like the GOP front-runner even more. The two papers mostly hire Ivy grads. There’ve been more than enough of them in the White House already, including the current dishonest do-do.

I was already enthusiastic when I thought Walker hadn’t gone to college. He’d be the first of that kind since Truman if he was elected prez. Then I found out he’d gone but not graduated. Same difference, to me, who had to go five years to finish. It was that boring.

As Instapundit says: “…many college degrees don’t signify much besides a limited ability to show up on time most of the time, and avoid getting so falling-down-drunk that you flunk out.” Or, in my case, too stoned too often.

So the Democrat house organ newspaper attacks on Scott Walker are just icing on the cake. Pink icing, of course.

However, if Walker doesn’t man up and start attacking the media, as only a few Republican candidates have ever done (Reagan, Daddy Bush, & Newt) he’ll probably go down under the weight of their phony scandals. Hit back, Scott!

The federal vulture prepares to swoop

The squirrely phrase “net neutrality” means different things to different people. It’s about as opaque a concept as there is. So, on the surface, the looming federal takeover of the Internet set to befall the world on Feb. 26 to protect “net neutrality” isn’t transparent at all. Until you do a little digging and discover that under the terms of its White House-approved 332-page plan the FCC will be outlawing any practice of any ISP anywhere that the agency decides is “unjust.”

Initially, as some contend, it will be about the size of the pipe, not the stuff that flows through it. But switching attention from the pipe to the quality of the flow will be a simple matter of redefining “unjust.” For instance, an ISP could be fined for “unjustly” hosting a blog or other site the FCC deems inaccurate or unfair. And there are plenty its White House master already doesn’t like, such as Drudge.

The current FCC regime “may promise forbearance,” concludes the Wall Street Journal, “but watch out, because that’s not how government works. The nature of bureaucracies is to grab power and expand it. Once the FCC assumes the authority to set ‘rates, terms and conditions’ across the online economy, expect a political land rush. The Beltway struggle for advantage will be so intense and the stakes so high…”

As our favorite Texas senator, Ted Cruz, says (in additon to his superb video mockery of our finally transparently-dishonest president) “…five unelected bureaucrats [are going to] regulate and control every aspect of the Internet….”

There’s even a side motive coming from leftist Democrats who want the old liberal alphabet news media (MSNBC & cBS, etc.) to regain the dominance they’ve lost to the Net and its many conservative and libertarian voices.

So, twenty years after the Web arose from the GUI (the graphical user interface) and launched the freest communications and business marketplace the world has ever seen—vibrant and profitable for all concerned—the federal vulture is going to swoop down and rend it.

And, not incidentally, set its talons for a broad censorship of ideas and opinions the Democrats and their mendacious president don’t like.

Randomness in Madison, Wisconsin

As Althouse commenter Michelle Dulak Thomson says of Friday night’s (the beginning of Shabbat by the way) destructive spray-painting of vulgar and anti-Jewish language on more than two dozen homes and some of their vehicles:

“Sooooo … a vandal randomly attacking houses in Madison (pop. 233K+) just manages to hit the home of the president of the Jewish Federation of Madison, and also the house across the street? Forgive me for thinking this is roughly as ‘random’ as shooting up a ‘bunch of folks in some deli’ that just happens to be kosher…People, this isn’t random, and it isn’t anti-Zionism. It’s anti-Semitism, it’s virulent, and it’s evil.”

And it’s becoming more prevalent in Europe and in lefty college towns across the U.S. The Western world  just cannot let go of its favorite scapegoat.

Slick Willie’s libido is our best hope

For saving us from President Hillary, I mean. Even conservative women I know have to pause to think before confirming or denying they would vote for her they want to see a woman in the White House so badly—even a mendacious harridan like her.

The Groper’s tastes apparently have turned to the young and word is getting out. The teenage young, which would land anyone else his age in jail. But he, of course… As Instapundit says, laws are for the little people.

“Clinton also spent years traveling and partying with Ron Burkle, a billionaire bachelor with a penchant for very young girls. Clinton spent so much time on Burkle’s private plane that it came to be known in Burkle’s circle as ‘Air F—k One.’”

Perhaps Ol’ Slick’s sexual tastes always were eclectic. Monica, you recall, wasn’t much over age 20. Preceded by a host of middle-aged women who claimed he had propositioned or groped them when he was governor of Arkansas and later in the White House. One is a liar, two are problematic, but three is a trend. Slick Willie had four or five complainants.

Could this “very young girls” business be the final stone that sinks the Clinton political prospects into the mucky murk and out of sight? We can dream.
