Che’s puppet

The Great Divider going over-the-top. When Raul Castro criticized human rights in the U.S. our Little Barry Hussein replied: “I personally would not disagree.” Surprised not to see dictator-loving Lurch in the group. Must be off appeasing some other tyrant.

The Administrative State

“Certainly Mr. Trump has a mouth, and he’s not afraid to use it. He also speaks to adoring crowds who cheer when he says to respond in kind to activists trying to disrupt his rallies. Even so, the over-the-top claims that Mr. Trump is the new Il Duce may be distracting attention from the soft despotism that Tocqueville deemed the far likelier menace to American liberties.

“This kind of authoritarianism doesn’t come with goose steps or brown shirts or large populist movements. It prefers bureaucracy to bombast. It presents itself as a solution to the complexities of modern government, and it’s called the administrative state.”

And the Hildabeast prefers the administrative rules of an FCC or an FBI to get the things she wants: an end to conservative radio and internet, and availability of guns to all but the elites’ bodyguards.

When government works and when it doesn’t

Our Little Barry Hussein came to town Friday, further jamming Austin’s always awful traffic, and not incidentally contributing to the carbon footprint he claims to care so much about reversing. He extolled the role of government, a curious tic of his these past seven years, as if government needed a boost to cover up its failures.

But the main thing he could find to praise was the weather bureau and its weathersats, at once the oldest and the newest of the bureaucracy’s ministries. He also lied (quell surprise!) about Obamacare’s success (not) and further pretended that it was his doing (“I passed this law”) as if he was the executive and the legislative branches rolled into one.

One thing he neglected to mention, let alone praise, however, was the federal continuation of the failed low-fat, high carb diet advice whose reliance on starch and sugar over the past half century has “presided over the greatest explosion in Type II diabetes in the history of the human species.” Next time you feel the roll of fat around your middle, and under your armpits, you’ll know who to blame besides yourself for being stupid enough to believe what the feds tell you.

The climate shuck may go to court

“Attorney General Loretta Lynch testified Wednesday that the Justice Department has ‘discussed’ taking civil legal action against the fossil fuel industry for ‘denying’ the ‘threat of carbon emissions’ when it comes to climate change.”

Presumably meaning the coal (electricity) and oil (cars) industries. Oh, goody. More economic downturn, higher prices, lower wages. You name it.

UPDATE:  The Communist News Network tells Rubio of his criticism of passing  a law to change the weather: heretics to the wall!

Hating Trump

Boy, the liberals and the RINOs really, really hate Trump. And. oh yeah, they don’t like his closest rival, our Ted, either. The liberals of course want the Hildabeast and her consort Slick Willie in the White House. The RINOs act like, if they can’t have Jeb to continue the Bush dynasty, they’d just as soon forgo an election and hand the Hildabeast the crown.

I think the real reason for Trump’s popularity is the growing number of Americans on both sides who hate D.C., PC, more federal regulations, more welfare, and higher taxes. And I don’t believe that they or Trump are any more fascist than our Little Barry Hussein is a Muslim. That’s good old American political hysteria in action. And that’s all it is.

The case for The Donald

While we’re swiping stuff from author Kurt Schlichter ( a former Army infantryman, no less, which obviously appeals to me), let’s do up his case for nominating and electing President Donald Trump.

As I often say, a floor mop would be better than the Hildabeast. And you should add in that bum-who-wants-your-money Bernie. But the Thumper? Well, consider…

“Most of Trump’s supporters are good people, patriotic Americans burned by an elite that sees their misery as collateral damage in a coastal, urban-led struggle for feel-good progressive change and personal enrichment.  The positive, optimistic, even Reaganesque language Trump uses when describing the future speaks to them – and Trump is the first major American figure in a long time to speak to them of hope and with respect.

“Mostly the culture lectures them on their stupidity for not having attended Harvard, their selfishness for not wanting to support welfare cheats with their hard work, and their unforgivable, innate racism for having a great-great-great-great-great grandfather who came from the British Isles.  These are the Americans who built this country, who fought for it, and who died for it, and until Trump came along, all they ever were was dumped on.”

Hear, hear. Not to mention that Trump is a capitalist. Capitalists know how to make money and so are bound to know how to support an economy that helps people make money. Unlike what we’ve had for almost eight years under Little Barry Hussein. Also known as President Fail. The man who couldn’t find his economic ass with both hands.

Read. It. All.

President Fail’s token commie

The headline is author Kurt Schlichter’s bet on who our Little Barry Hussein will nominate to replace newly-deceased Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. He whose strict constructionism of the increasingly ignored U.S. Constitution has helped keep the Socialist Democrat Party from imposing more nonsense on us than they already have.

“The next president will appoint Justice Scalia’s replacement, and thereby determine whether the Supreme Court will remain a bulwark of liberty or a tool of liberal fascism – that is, assuming that sad sack Mitch McConnell stays sacked up and refuses to allow a vote on whatever token commie Obama decides to nominate.”

The Democrats have always denounced any Republican president’s bid to nominate a justice during a presidential election year. Not that they believe such should apply to them. So it’s up to the Republican majority Senate (and its Obama toady McConnell) to deny what Schlichter calls “President Fail’s Che-loving creep.”

Even if he does, if the Hildabeast or Bernie win the White House, you can bet it’ll be a nominee of similar ilk. Perhaps even Barry Hussein himself. Gasp.
