“…the ICU at Bethesda Naval fills up…”

And nobody in Obozo’s court media gives a rat’s rear. Or, for that matter, among Mittens and his entourage.

‘Course, if Mittens wins in November, it will all be different. The court media will suddenly get crackin’ on being journalists, so-called, again. They always do with Republicans in the White House, you know.

And then maybe they’ll notice our troops who’ve been hung out to dry in Afghanistan by Obozo (though they certainly won’t mention that part) and start demanding that Mittens do something about all those American wounded clogging the ICU at Bethesda Naval…

The Munich Eleven

Members of the Israeli Olympic team (five competitors, four coaches, a referee and a judge) who were slain in Munich by Palestinian terrorists in 1972. Whom the London Olympics chose not to recall even for a minute on this year’s 40th anniversary of their murders. But for whom American Gold medal gymnast Aly Raisman dedicated her performance. The crucifixions begin

Hey, don’t blame Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood. They’re just fundies who follow the rules and crucifixions for Christians and other infidels are required by the Koran. You could look it up.

Course you could blame Obozo for being a moron for pulling the rug from under Mubarak, calling the Brotherhood moderates and backing their takeover of Egypt. But he can’t help it, any more than Biden can restrain himself. Unless, of course, maybe Old Slow Joey has got a plan. Ya think?

Using the Army to stop the Tea Party

Nevermind the Pentagon striking the word jihad from the military lexicon, at Obozo’s order, thereby eliminating references to a genuine threat.

How about this new effort by a retired Army colonel and a University of Kansas historian? They wrote an Army War College scenario telling how the military can take over the role of the civilian police and quash a right-wing Tea Party takeover of an American town.

“In May 2016 an extremist militia motivated by the goals of the “tea party” movement takes over the government of Darlington, South Carolina, occupying City Hall, disbanding the city council, and placing the mayor under house arrest…”

The Occupy Movement, composed of genuine thugs, rapists and assorted felons, isn’t mentioned. Well, they had Obozo’s backing.

The colonel and the professor, not to mention the War College, really need to stop watching MSNBC as much as they apparently do. Waste of time, folks. And more: it’s criminally stupid.

This little scenario, alone, is going to cost you in credibility and respect from the American people, without whose continuing regard the military cannot succeed at anything.

The fear of one little minute

Eleven dead. Forty years ago. For whom a minute of silent memorial now is just too much. My, my, how the world has changed since 1972. From reflexive courage to quake-in-your-boots cowardice.

For those alleged champions of personal courage, the International Olympic Committee, certainly. Scared spitless of the Religion of Peace, as so many are these days while pretending only to be super-tolerant of a religious culture that is, in fact, tolerant of no one. Indeed, a Religion of War. A Religion of Hate.

Only Greek-Irish American sportscaster Bob Costas has the nerve, apparently, to lead an observation of this minute for the Israeli olympic team’s eleven who were slain in a Palestinian massacre forty years ago. Good for him. And on NBC, of all venues, whose news department has become thoroughly biased in recent years. We’ll see if the Mooselimbs try to kill him or someone else at NBC. I’d take that bet. Wouldn’t you?

As for the inevitable call for boycotting the Olympics, frankly, that won’t be a hardship for me. I never follow them anyway. Only things that ever have piqued my interest for more than, uh, one minute, are the ice-skating and ski-jumping and they’re not on this year. This is the summer version of the whoop-dee-do. *

What’s really needed is more than one minute of frankly admitting that a great many non-Muslims are scared to death of Islam. “To death” being the operative phrase. We’re in a war. A curious war that few except the aggressors even admit exists.

UPDATE:  In this case, though, there’s something else going on as well. Especially considering there have been one-minute Olympic memorials before.

* I forgot beach volleyball, the laugher “sport” mainly noted for its female T&A. I will deny myself that as a boycott statement.

Michael Yon on cannibals: An extreme Hindi cult

New as these reports of cannibal attacks seem to many of us, coming as they are from places like Miami Beach and Montreal, war correspondent Michael Yon is an old hand at this subject, having researched it in India, Nepal, Thailand, Italy, Germany, France, Hawaii and (where else) California, particularly its India origins.

It is, he says, an extreme cult of Hinduism. Shiva-the-destroyer and all that. And it’s attracted more than a few American converts, including one Gary Stevenson from, ahem, Texas. Hence their appearance on our side of the world. Pagans all. The sort of barbarity you’d expect from a world heavily invested in denying G-d.

Home of the Nemos

You know, the clownfish called Nemo. One of their homes would, strangely enough, be the Negev Desert of Southern Israel. Interesting story of aquaculture in the Arava Valley around Eilat. Very industrious people, the Israelis. A great place to visit, despite what the lying liberal news media (War, war, war!) may have you thinking. Check it out.
