Barry’s bow to the Muslim king was a lot deeper bow than Bush’s dip for his medal and Barry got no medal. Well, no medal yet, anyhow.
UPDATE: Barry denies he bowed. Who ya gonna believe? Barry, or your lying eyes?
Instapundit clings somewhat precariously to the military weapons wielded by the Mexican drug cartels to try to show that not all their guns come from the U.S. Fox News, to which he links, has apparently taken his side of the argument.Their concern, of course, is new gun sale restrictions here at home.
The San Antonio Express-News, while conceding that the military stuff probably didn’t come from our side of the border, nevertheless makes a convincing case that most of the non-military stuff that has been traced did–much of it from Texas retailers. Michael Yon has uncharacteristly attracted more than a few irritated commenters for wading into the argument. I’m glad he did, though. I know more now about it now than I did before. On the other hand, as Instapundit notes, some of the guns probably have come from Mexican army deserters.

She rarely moves today. Cub scouts get to spend the night in her lower decks. She was new in 1914, was refurbished and reequipped many times, fought in WW1, received one of the first radar-assisted gun directors in the 1930s, and fought in WW2: among other things, escorting convoys across the Atlantic, firing support for the Normandy beachheads on D-Day in 1944, and also for the later Pacific landings on Iwo Jima and Okinawa.
But the Army did not, and does not, make commercials as good as this Marine one. As the H.E.B. checker-military brat joked one time when she saw my ARMY cap: "Ain’t Ready For Marines Yet?" Not on the recruiting score.

Beats me. I know he was raised as one, but few are the children who get to decide what, if any, religious services they attend. But if he isn’t secretly a Muslim, why is it his first instinct to bow low to a Saudi king? Bush held the king’s hand. Some of Big Media howled at that.
Now, of course, the lapdog press, good Democrats all, are saying nothing. Yet Barry apparently did not bow to Queen Elizabeth. He seems to have reserved his bow for a Muslim king–even if he seems to have tried to stop himself at the last second. American presidents are not supposed to bow to kings and queens. But too few Americans know history these days. So it’s probable that not many will care, even if they ever find out what he did. Or why.
UPDATE: Bush bowed to Abdullah, too! Mea culpa, mea culpa. So the Saudi suckup goes on and on.

A harsh, depressing video via Michael Yon. Until you remember all the comrades of these scum we’re eradicating. Someday we’ll get them, too.
UPDATE: Or not. A new pro-Jihad magazine in North Carolina, of all places, has to make you wonder.
