Blackouts in Oz

In California the electricity blackouts are planned in advance of fire season and mainly affect rural areas. In Australia they’re caused by over-reliance on wind and solar. With urban businesses forced to buy spendy diesel generators as backups in Oz.

Thank goodness we’re back to producing oil and gas under Trump after Bronco Bama’s flirtation with subsidizing wind and solar.

UPDATE:  Only a state that’s neglected its electric grid needs to worry about it starting forest fires. But that’s what pols do, neglect the maintenance on what their predecessors created while seeking trendy alternatives, whether they work or not. That’s why Amtrak sleeping cars are shabby and even DC Metro is falling apart.

The “neutral” Fed’s resistance

“A key lesson of the Trump era is that every single allegedly neutral, nonpartisan, super-professional institution has turned out to be, in fact, a bunch of partisan hacks shilling for the permanent political party. Voters can be forgiven for adopting a ‘burn it all down’ attitude in response.”

Yes, and we should start with indictments at Fart, Barf & Itch.

Wall construction

The Trump wall. A new web site following the construction says there are 89 miles of bollard-type steel wall completed, with 226 plus miles to go. I guess the rest of the two plus thousand miles are in inaccessible terrain. Soon we won’t have to guess. We’ll know.

No thanks to the fake news media, i.e. the Mediacrats, who won’t cover it. They’d have us think it isn’t being built. Now we’ll see it anyway.

Pat Condell on the squadies

bans two BDSholes and suddenly everyone on the left cares about free speech. We didn’t hear a murmur out of any of these hypocrites when two Americans, Robert Spencer and Pamela Geller, were banned from the UK. They’re still banned. Where are the protests about that?”

The “fine people” hoax

“I’ve been publicly debunking the ‘fine people’ hoax since 2017. The press created the hoax by consistently and intentionally omitting the second half of President Trump’s comments about Charlottesville.”

Figures. You cannot trust the news media these days, especially Mediacrats.

UPDATE:  Pat Condell on Gab: “We are witnessing the suicide of journalism.”

The dead kiddie didler

“Anyone can come up with conspiracy theories. But there is no escaping the fact that [Jeffrey] Epstein’s career was one long conspiracy of mysterious money, a private island, the subversion of justice systems in three states, and the federal system, followed by a death that should have been impossible.

“A corrupt system enabled Jeffrey Epstein to abuse numerous girls. And now a corrupt system, somewhere in the shadowy maze of Civic Center, has drawn a final curtain over his death.”

AP sucks

Never known for either good writing (that was the old UPI) or accurate reporting, the old Associated Press at least strove for objectivity. Not any more.

“The Left’s favorite game these days is exposing or “doxxing” supporters of conservative (or, some would say, common sense) causes. Why? So that fellow leftists can harass them or boycott their businesses. We have seen multiple instances in just the last few days. This one is striking because it comes from the Associated Press, which was once a respected news source.”

They are now as partisan as the rest of the Mediacrats: doxxing supporters of Israel.
