The Bibi-Barry tape

Sure sounds like the imperious Wormtongue “demanding” an Israeli ceasefire in this transcript by Arutz Sheva:

Obama: Within a week of the end of Israel’s military activities, Qatar and Turkey will begin negotiations with Hamas on the basis of the 2012 understanding [following the end of Operation Pillar of Defense – ed.], including Israel’s commitment to removing the siege and restrictions on Gaza,

Netanyahu: Qatar and Turkey are the biggest supporters of Hamas. It is impossible to rely on them to be fair mediators.

Obama: I trust Qatar and Turkey, and Israel is in no position to choose its mediators.

Barry’s and Bibi’s minions have issued denials, calling the tape/transcript a fabrication. Curiously, however, according to Artuz Sheva, the wording of their denials is almost exactly the same. Makes you wonder what’s really up with that.

The Human Rights Council of the Dictator’s Club (aka the United Nations) is a bitter joke dominated by countries that support terrorism. It’s main target is Israel. So naturally they’re working overtime at the moment.

UN Watch is at best a thorn in the council’s diseased flesh. Nevertheless, the Watch’s executive director Hillel Neuer is a man who knows how to give a speech. Don’t fail to notice the eyerolling of the clown in the foreground.

Neuer deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for promoting the common sense required to ensure real peace in the world. Instead it will undoubtedly go to our own idiot Lurch working feverishly these days trying to save Hamas from the IDF.

Our good Texas Sen. Ted Cruz apparently has helped Israel get a reversal of the FAA’s travel embargo, which prohibited normal U.S. airline flights to and from Israel. Subsequently, many European airlines followed suit.

Ted called it an “economic boycott” of the Jewish state while we send $47 million to Hamas, well, technically to the UN’s mission to Gaza. You know, the same outfit that, after discovering Hamas rockets stored in its empty schools, simply returned them to the terrorist mob.

“The facts,” Cruz said, “suggest that President Obama has just used a federal regulatory agency to launch an economic boycott on Israel, in order to try to force our ally to comply with his foreign-policy demands…

“Secretary of State John Kerry issued a veiled threat last February when he encouraged [investment] boycotts of Israel and said that absent serious Israeli concessions at the negotiating table, Israel’s economic prosperity was ‘not sustainable’ and ‘illusory.’ [Lurch] unfortunately reprised this theme just this April…”

Cruz said he would use his senator’s privilege to block all Senate confirmations of State Department appointments until he got an explanation for why no similar airline embargoes have been imposed on Afghanistan, Pakistan and Yemen.

The State Department rejected Cruz’s characterization of the ban but didn’t answer his question. Then, a few minutes before midnight Wednesday, the FAA lifted its embargo. Thanks, Ted.

Burning windmills

We already knew they were uneconomic without government subsidies. Too much maintenance required, for one thing. Not enough electricity generated for another. Now we learn they are catching fire regularly. What a stupid technology.

Meanwhile the Euros are still waiting for their wind-powered cars.

Terrorism pays, and pays well

I see we’re sending another $47 million to Gaza, supposedly to the UN’s mission there, for “humanitarian aid.” There’s some bitter humor.

Our political elite, who do their own thieving of public funds, certainly know the UN isn’t trustworthy and that Hamas will skim their cut right off the top.

Unless they just skip the skim and pocket the top and all the rest of it. Why else would there be 38 percent poverty and 40 percent unemployment in Gaza, concrete-walled fighting tunnels and thousands of rockets?

Not to mention private jets and luxury living for the Hamas leadership?

UPDATE:  Our idiot secretary of state, Lurch himself, made the decision to give the money. Quite a kitty he has charge of, eh? He is a genuine fool. He also seems to be behind the banning of airline flights to Israel, though I think that has more sense to it and underscores that there must be no ceasefire until and unless Hamas and its rockets are neutered—which will require many more dead and wounded on both sides. It should never have come to this.

Those unaccompanied children…

…are actually fewer than some of the snooze media would have you believe. If you’re paying attention, that is. If, like me, you’re tired of hearing about the latest wave of illegals crossing the Southern border, and therefore only listening with half an ear, you might conclude we’re dealing with a strange wave of thousands of Central American orphans.

Orphans? No. The kids among them—and there are plenty of teens and young adults as well—are coming across to join Mom and Dad who are already here. Mom and Dad watch MSDNC and figure amnesty is just around the corner. So it’s time to bring the whole family together for the big event.Some of the kids have phone numbers written on their shirts and pants so no one fails to call their folks.

And the federal border patrol is cooperating. The kids who are busing or flying to various states are being sent “home,” in essence, where they can swell the public school population and whatever aspects of the local welfare state they’re able to take advantage of, raising taxes for the natives.

The kids part is actually very well coordinated. It’s the older ones that Gov. Rick Perry is upset about. But just how he imagines Texas alone will be able to control its whole Southern border, is beyond me.

UPDATE:  A thousand Texas National Guard won’t be near enough, Rick.

Another “Kill the Jews” Weekend

“Shiites and Sunnis temporarily put aside their blood feuds and entire families of Syrian Alawites and Turkish Sunnis stand in London or Berlin screaming ‘Death to the Jews’.

“Joining them are elderly Trotskyists and aging Stalinists, normally as mutually hostile as Shiites and Sunnis, who put aside their differences to feebly wave cardboard signs about the Zionist war machine.

“Fake blood is everywhere. Aspiring art students who can’t draw try to figure out new ways of intersecting a Swastika and a Star of David. Latuff cartoons are printed out along with bloody photos  of dead people from Syria, Hollywood horror movies and on the rare occasion, Gaza, and shoved in everyone’s faces.”

Read it all. It’s, you know, the stuff you won’t see in the Snooze Media today and tomorrow. Which will pride itself on “playing it straight”, i.e. without the truth.
