Remembering Six Million…

Is it good for the Jews?

obama_surrenders_iran_4-5-15-1

That’s the old question Jews have always ask about national or international developments. Because, like all ethnic groups and, in some ways, more than any other, they have a large stake in them. I think Bibi’s lobbying for a better deal with Iran is very good for the Jews—and all the rest of the world as well.

“‘I think the alternatives are not either this bad deal or war. I think there’s a third alternative. And that is standing firm, ratcheting up the pressure, until you get a better deal,’ the Israeli Prime Minister told CNN’s ‘State of the Union’. ‘A better deal would roll back Iran’s vast nuclear infrastructure and require Iran to stop its aggression in the region, its terror worldwide, and its calls and actions to annihilate the state of Israel.'”

After all, Iran just gave tens of millions to Hamas so it can replace its terror tunnels and terror rockets.

It’s good for the Jews to have a tough Jew talking tough about the enemies of the Jews. And in this case the enemies of all who don’t want a nuclear missile to come calling. Just like the Coptic Christians fighting back against ISIS. It’s less risky than keeping mum, walking small and making nice with scum like the Mullahs and clowns like our Barry Hussein who’ll make a deal at any price.

Rule 5: Tzipi Hotovely

Deputy-Minister-of-Transportation-Tzipi-Hotovely The Israeli deputy transportation minister and member of the Likud party is as hot as the first syllable of her surname. Her politics are pretty hot as well.

A fair reminder of the curious fact that conservative women generally are a lot better looking than Progressive ones.

Message to Hamas

GolaniPoster

A Golani Infantry Brigade poster. The green olive tree is their logo and the Golan Heights is their usual stomping ground.

Translation from the Hebrew: “To Hamas terrorists. There is no light in the end of the tunnel. There is Golani.”

Not that it will be easy.

Go get ’em, Ted

Our good Texas Sen. Ted Cruz apparently has helped Israel get a reversal of the FAA’s travel embargo, which prohibited normal U.S. airline flights to and from Israel. Subsequently, many European airlines followed suit.

Ted called it an “economic boycott” of the Jewish state while we send $47 million to Hamas, well, technically to the UN’s mission to Gaza. You know, the same outfit that, after discovering Hamas rockets stored in its empty schools, simply returned them to the terrorist mob.

“The facts,” Cruz said, “suggest that President Obama has just used a federal regulatory agency to launch an economic boycott on Israel, in order to try to force our ally to comply with his foreign-policy demands…

“Secretary of State John Kerry issued a veiled threat last February when he encouraged [investment] boycotts of Israel and said that absent serious Israeli concessions at the negotiating table, Israel’s economic prosperity was ‘not sustainable’ and ‘illusory.’ [Lurch] unfortunately reprised this theme just this April…”

Cruz said he would use his senator’s privilege to block all Senate confirmations of State Department appointments until he got an explanation for why no similar airline embargoes have been imposed on Afghanistan, Pakistan and Yemen.

The State Department rejected Cruz’s characterization of the ban but didn’t answer his question. Then, a few minutes before midnight Wednesday, the FAA lifted its embargo. Thanks, Ted.

Our shameful president, the fundraiser-in-chief

It’s disgusting, watching Wormtongue toss off a few platitudes in Israel’s direction, then go off to fundraise for his retirement. (He says it’s for the Democrat party, but he’s a notorious liar.) Then he threatens Israel’s economy by canceling airline flights.

The Israelis, now hosting Lurch, Wormtongue’s idiot secretary of state and his cease-fire blather, are more than irritated. Especially with so many young soldiers fighting and dying for their country.

“It’s a sad day, too, when the best that the administration can manage is to tell us we have ‘the right to self-defense,’ rather than leading a global diplomatic offensive that champions Israel’s obligation to protect itself, and that musters any and every means to help its sole dependable Middle Eastern ally in that mission.”

I can’t imagine Barack Hussein doing anything like that for any country but a Muslim one. He lies to everyone else, including us. That’s part of the reason many of us (at least the 67 percent by one poll who support Israel) are deeply ashamed of him. Our first black president is a disaster.

UPDATE:  “…the U.S. has proved itself a faithless ally – or, at best, a worthless one, easily spooked and unprepared to back Israel up in enforcing the rule of law against lawless terrorism.”
