As the PR turns

Let the jihadis of ISIL put a beheading video on YouTube and all sorts of strange things follow. Such as Hamas claiming that in future:

“Mashaal vowed that Hamas would, in the future, take measures to warn Israeli civilians of impending attacks, just as Israel does in the Gaza Strip.”

Although he (the handsome, impeccably-groomed Hamas bigwig who operates from a plush hotel in Qatar rather than share the risks with his underlings in Gaza) said it would be easier to do so once Hamas gets more sophisticated (i.e. target-able) missiles. Underscoring their future intentions, by the way.

All of which is mere public relations baloney, of course, but it’s interesting that Hamas is taking pains to distance itself from the ISIL throat-cutters—despite having executed seven 25 alleged Gazan collaborators (without any sort of trial) in recent days. Their unceremonious deaths undercut (so to speak) Mashaal’s “good” intentions.

UPDATE:  I like Haaretz’s headline: “We wouldn’t target civilians if we had better weapons.”  Yeah, sure. Like the mortar (a very precise weapon) that killed the 4-year-old boy.

The anti-Semites of the Dictator’s Club

It starts at the top of the “democracy of tyrants,” aka the United Nations, where the Security Council now wants to erase 65 years and force Israel to negotiate peace based on the 1949 armistice lines.

This comes after Secretary-General Ban Ki moon decided to investigate Israeli “war crimes” in Gaza while noticeably ignoring Gaza’s rocketeers’ crimes and a host of other, more likely (even obvious) culprits:

There is virtually nothing else that the United Nations seems to do.  No war-crimes investigations in Syria (110,000 191,000 murdered, some by poison gas and chemicals) or in Iraq, where Christians are getting crucified by ISIL and Al Qaeda thugs and cutthroats, even as other Christians are being exiled from their homes of a thousand years on pain of death.

“No war-crimes peeks around eastern Ukraine to figure out who murdered the passengers aboard a simple civilian airliner and then would not even allow Dutch officials to access the corpses of the slaughtered.  Rather, another farcical search for blood in matzah, four months since last Pesach and eight months before the next.”

That last is a reference to the medieval “blood libel” of the anti-Semites, who periodically (and increasingly, lately) charge that children are being purposely slain by the bloodthirsty Jews. The matzah part is there, it just isn’t reported.

The Security Council’s and Ban Ki Ludicrous’s concern is obvious. And it ain’t got nothing to do with the Arabs of Gaza,  Judea or Samaria. Is it any wonder the UN has lost the respect of most fair-minded people?

UPDATE:  The “progressive” British newspaper The Independent calls Israel a “child-murdering community.” Of Hamas’ use of children as human shields, of course, they say nothing.

With Al it’s always about the money

Al Bore, that is, the phony Green whose Tennessee mansion has more rooms than some hotels. Which makes the Global Warming blowhard’s carbon footprint bigger than Godzilla’s loafers. Who also really looks goofy in a Sheikh of Araby get-up, considering Halloween is still months away.

“Al Gore is a fake environmentalist who leveraged his Green cred to get special access that enabled him to set up a liberal news network that he then sold off to Qatar’s Al Jazeera, a tyrant’s propaganda outlet that pretends to be a news network.”

Qatar. You know, the financiers of Hamas, the terrorists who run Gaza?

Well, Qatar might like Hamas but they’re not so fond of Al. They allegedly stiffed him for millions when Al Jiz bought his liberal network. So Al is suing.

As Daniel Greenfield asks: What happens when one fraud sues another fraud for fraud?

Ammo resupply to Israel held up

Used to be additional mortar and tank rounds were provided on Israel’s request. Now they, and more Hellfire missiles, require specific review by the Great Divider.

“A top Israeli official said the rift runs [deep]. ‘We’ve been there before with a lot of tension with us and Washington. What we have now, on top of that, is mistrust and a collision of different perspectives on the Middle East,’ the official said. ‘It’s become very personal.'”

“According to US officials cited in the Wall Street Journal report, the Wednesday night phone call between Obama and Netanyahu was ‘particularly combative.'”

Yeah, I’ll bet. Which underscores previous reports (officially denied) of Obamaloot’s imperious “demand” that Bibi halt Israel’s Gaza op.

UPDATE:  “We have to become more reliant on our defense and weapons capabilities and less on the United States, at least so long as this administration is in power. ‘Most pro-Israel administration evah’? You got to be kidding.”

MORE: Of course when he’s caught out, the Worm immediately pleads misunderstanding. Self-reliance would be best, however, since American pols can no longer be trusted to stick in private to policies stated in public. In other words, they’re liars.

Queen of Benghazi: newly neoconservative

The political opportunist always lacks the courage of his, or her, convictions. That’s not necessarily because there aren’t any convictions. It’s because the convictions are always subordinated to the needs of ambition and ingratiation.”

She’s watching the polls (always), backing Bibi (for now), lamenting the jihadi takeover of Iraq (for now), and talking tough on the Russians and Iran (for now), all in obvious prep for her run for the White House in 2016.

And if she wins? Then we’ll see the duplicitous lizard emerge from behind the mask, slithering tongue and all, saying: “What difference, at this point, does it make?”

BTW, the White House’s latest opportunist, who is a master of deceit, says her criticism of his Syrian policy is “horsesh*t” —a substance the Classy One is a lot more familiar with than most.
