Austin snowflakes march

A few hundred anti-Trumpets, judging from aerial photos at KVUE which shows them in a tight formation spanning the Congress Avenue bridge, blocked downtown bridges and streets Wednesday afternoon.

Here in leftist-land, the municipal pols force the cops to be indulgent of such blather. So the poor, triggered snowflakes, whose march reportedly started on the UTexas campus, probably will be allowed to break the law for a few hours, until they get tired and go home. Unless they start throwing bottles, like their counterparts in California have been doing.

This sort of thing is to be expected in President Trump’s foreseeable future: leftists throwing public tantrums, getting tear-gassed and arrested. It is to laugh. Poor wittle babies. Didn’t get their way. Their criminal bitch didn’t get elected.

UPDATE:  Mr. Boy, a high school junior of the (so far) conservative persuasion, said school was amusing today. Many triggered snowflakes visibly upset. Some classmates didn’t come to school at all, a group of girls wept in the library while watching Clinton’s concession speech, one teacher put off an exam until next week and during his English class the teacher put her head down on her desk for several minutes until she had regained her composure. He was happy the exam was postponed.

Thank you, white, working-class America

Mr. Boy and I are excited. We didn’t think the Trumpet could win. We drank the big media’s Kool Aid. And the big pollsters. And so on and so forth. But we are so happy to have had our stomachs pumped by reality. (Disgusting metaphor. Sorry.)

And, apparently, we have America’s finally-angry white working class to thank. Way to go Deplorables. You won’t be sorry. Lots of goony Leftists and the rest of the PC crowd will be. But you won’t. If anyone can convince the Congress (and a Republican Congress at that) to lower taxes, and cut back on regulations, thereby boosting the economy into creating more jobs, the Trumpet can. Not to mention seriously quelling those waves of low-wage illegal immigrants and refugees. Will it raise prices for the rest of us? Probably. But that’s real equity for a change.

Hell, after the rioting Leftists get tired of being tear-gassed and arrested, the previously-Stupid Party might even be able to bring back some manufacturing, at least light manufacturing. It could be a good time to be only a high school graduate again.

Is that wishful thinking? That’s what the Ruling Class said about the Trumpet winning. And now they’re all crying in their chardonnay. Woot!

UPDATE:  Trump’s victory speech, a bit rambling, of course, but basically telling. He was always a better person than the snooze media gave him credit for. Wall Street, too. Stocks are down, sure. My 401K took a hit, I’m sure, but it’s going to be good for the people who don’t have one.

Why You Shouldn’t Trust Election Reporting

Because the dominant news media is Democrat and it works for the government.

“Tragically, our national media now sees itself as part of the government, and as a consequence, the media’s mission to hold institutions accountable has been dropped entirely in favor of relentless agenda-pushing.”

So good luck finding out what really happened today. You’ll need a mix of sources, most of them on the Internet. Sort of like trying to find out the real unemployment figures over the past eight years of Obama’s lies.

UPDATE:  For instance, can you believe the #ExitPolls, either when they show Trump ahead or behind? The former could be trying to suppress the rest of the Trump vote. The latter could be because Trumpets are shy to admit their support of the anti-PC candidate.

MORE: I’ve been following it on Twitter and PJMedia, with occasional glances at the NYT’s “forecast meter.” Well, occasional glances until it swung the braying she-ass (as the North Koreans call you-know-who) below a 50 percent chance of winning. Then boosted Trump to a 79 percent chance. And later to 87 percent. Wow. Just wow.

Post-election civil war?

PJ Media’s Roger Simon: “As miserable as this endless election season has been, the aftermath is likely to be far worse.  You don’t have to be Nostradamus to see that putting the American Humpty Dumpty together again is going to be a herculean task. Our country could be permanently fractured in ways few of us would have anticipated even a year ago.  Anything is possible now.”

But, not, I think civil war. The insane angries are too ad-hoc, with no real infrastructure, or base of supply. I do think if Trump is elected, the leftists who already are used to spending their time in the streets, confronting the police, will do a lot more of it. At least until a few of them get killed. Hopefully not too many police will have to die, but I wouldn’t be surprised if some did. But a sustained war? Most of the leftists are too wimpy for that. Few of them even know how to load a gun, let alone clean one.

If Clinton is elected, I could foresee a Democrat version of Nixon’s Saturday Night Massacre (Wikipedia here) in which either Obama fires Comey and starts a purge of the FBI or, more likely, he preserves what legacy he has and waits to let her do it after her inauguration. In the meantime, even if the FBI were to recommend she be indicted, they have no grand jury to do it and no prosecutors to put her on trial. That’s up to Loretta Lynch’s DOJ and while there might be a lot of yelling about how it’s not being done, it wouldn’t get done on the remainder of Obama’s watch.

As for a conservative civil war, that’s a contradiction in terms. Conservatives are not demonstrators. Many of them own guns and like to shoot. But they aren’t rioters and they certainly wouldn’t confront the police.

So civil war? Violence maybe but I can’t imagine how a real war would work.

Probably not a good idea if you’re contemplating putting a Trump sign in your yard or a sticker on your car. Unless you have enough money to fix the inevitable damages. There’s no one more intolerant of other people’s opinions than a Democrat.

UPDATE POST TRUMP VICTORY: Hahahahahahaha! Up the Deplorables!

Drain the Swamp!

That’s Trump’s excellent campaign slogan these days, added to his older Make America Great Again. More like Make American Normal Again, as gay Pay Pal co-founder, Silicon Valley billionaire, and Trump supporter Peter Thiel puts it.

Normal as in no more half trillion dollar trade deficit. No more NAFTA and other free trade putting 94 million American adults—almost half the adult population—out of work. And no more fighting five undeclared, simultaneous wars with no victory in sight. Fix those things and closing the southern border to cheap, unskilled illegals and ceasing the flow of cheap, unskilled Muslim refugees from the Middle East would be a piece of cake.

Well, I mixed some Rush Limbaugh in there with what Thiel says on this video which Limbaugh has on his site. Thiel’s trying to educate the Ruling Class. It’s well worth a listen. How many Silicon  Valley billionaires are backing Trump? Just Thiel as far as I know. And he’s angry. But very measured in his anger. He wants to drain the swamp before it’s too late. Too late to stop something worse than a controversial presidential election.

And here’s Trump’s latest summation of a speech on his issues: ObamaCare, Nafta, Common Core, high taxes and cuts in defense spending.

“I am not a politician,” he said. “My only special interest is you, the American people. The guiding rule of the political class in Washington, D.C., is that they are looking out only for themselves. They will say anything, and do anything, to cling to their power and prestige at your expense. I’m running to change and reverse decades of failure, and to work with the American people to create generations of success.”

Works for me. I’m more than ready for an outsider president. Drain the Swamp!

Does Comey have a death wish?

screen-shot-2016-10-28-at-11-25-05-pm-600x578-2

Lots to laugh about with the FBI’s announced reopening of the Hildafelon’s emailgate investigation. Imagine not just her outrage but the flabbergast in the nation’s Democrat newsrooms and editorial boards. On the other hand, as the Z man says: “If you are going to strike the queen, you better kill the queen or have plans to leave the country.”

Now the mere fact of Weiner’s survival all this time speaks either to her incompetence or that the Clintons really don’t have people killed for thwarting them. So maybe Comey doesn’t have a death wish. But never mind the Cintons. If she loses the election now the entire Democrat party will be after his ass.

I like this idea from Allen, one of the Z man’s commenters: “My bet is on the Ghost of Directors Past. Can you imagine J. Edgar Hoover hounding you at night? In drag? So, I think he saw that the Clintons had even publicly tied…the FBI to their little criminal enterprise with the #2 guy’s wife, and it was a bridge too far.”

So the queen is now calling for complete disclosure by the FBI of why they’re reopening her previously closed case. But how can they do that? A police agency showing its hand before indictment would be unprecedented. But, then, so is what Comey has done. Either way he looks pretty dumb.

Me, I miss Wilbur Mills and Fanny Fox in the fountain. Scandals were so much easier in their day. Nevertheless, time to lay in a goodly stock of popcorn. The curtain is up and the show has begun. Enjoy.
