On this coming Mother’s Day let’s give it up in frank admiration for the Queen Mum of Democrat politics and her consort Slick Willie.

Big a cuckold as she is, following in the footsteps of her pardon-selling, child-molesting, cheating husband, Godzillary’s still the favorite for the party’s nomination for president. And the low-to-no-info voting public quite likely will overlook all of their duplicity and mendacity and put them right back in the White House in 2016.

Speaks to something. The incompetence and/or political bias of the Democrat news media and its cowardly equivocations. The stupidity of most American women voters. Dare I say it? Yes, the stupidity. Or just the incredible machinations of Godzillary and Slick: The Voldemorts from Arkansas.

They-who-must-not-be-named in the same sentence with “criminal.” And too rarely are. Ready for his parsing of “is”? And her temper tantrums? You’d better be.

UPDATE:  Not that anyone should worry overmuch about what Peggy Noonan thinks, but…”A formal investigation, from Congress or the Justice Department, is needed to determine if Hillary Clinton’s State Department functioned, at least to some degree and in some cases, as a pay-for-play operation and whether the Clinton Foundation has functioned, at least in part, as a kind of high-class philanthropic slush fund.” Well, forget the “justice” department and Congress doesn’t have the nutmegs. But it’s the thought that counts, right Peggy?

Shillary’s poor-mouth

She left the White House “dead broke,” she wants us to believe, she whose cronies infamously stole furniture and accessories and absconded with the D key from every desktop computer to harass the incoming Republicans.

As NRO’s Jim Geraghty scoffs:

“A woman with a net worth of $200 million, who gives speeches to Goldman Sachs for $200,000 each, is perhaps the single least plausible populist of all time. She may attempt to pose as this reform-minded outsider who will shake up ‘The System,’ when she is perhaps the personification of ‘The System.’…”

No perhaps about it, Jim. If the Queen of Benghazi wins in 2016, as she very probably will, we can expect a continuation of the now 6-year jobless recovery, more bureaucracy-expanding, economy-killing business regulations, and plenty of foreign appeasement—with an occasional cruise missile thrown to make her look tough. While she rakes in the dough (and the graft).

That’s how Slick Willie did it. Speaking of which… Those White House interns better watch out. He may be senile now but he’s still unzipped.

That’s Althouse’s headline, with my own slight alteration, re the newly surfaced audiotape about Slick Willie’s “I did not have sex with that woman” lie of the late 90s. Too rich.

“Since I know you will be alone tomorrow evening, I have two proposals for you, neither of which is you not seeing me… Now the first thing that has to happen is that you need to pre-plan with Betty…”

“Betty Currie was [the Willie’s] secretary.”

I hope this recording is just the first of many such reminders of how sleazy the Clintons really are. Slick Willie for being a groper of women (War on Women, anyone?), even then-young Monica who was his daughter’s age, and Lady Macbeth for being so power mad she’d stay a cuckhold rather than surrender her access to the throne. Heh.

And why we could do without the former secretary of state who left an ambassador to die in Benghazi as Wormtongue’s White House successor.

He was/is to be paid $11,111 a minute for his upcoming appearance in Israel for President Perez’s 90th birthday. Then it became so controversial among Israelis that the payment now is in doubt.

A drop in the cesspool, actually, for the $13.4 million the Groper “earned” from speeches in 2011. And Monica? Where is the about-the-same-age-as-his-daughter Monica these days?

Hopefully glad to be rid of him, along with the other women he only fondled without their permission. I honestly can’t watch the pardon-selling swine without feeling as dirty as he is.

Indeed, inviting him to your 90th birthday would be like hiring a stripper for your wedding anniversary.

Lying, that is. The man who made Monica a household word and openly sold pardons at the end of his second term ought to be more humble. He isn’t.

The Path to 9/11

This post is as star-crossed as the docudrama it’s about. Twice now, Movable Type has trashed it before I could get it on the site. Grrrr. Once more with feeling: I missed the 2006 ABC airing of this Disney film. I figured it was probably just more Hollyweird drek like Moore’s crockumentary on GWB.

Apparently not. This one dared to come down on the Clintons. Whoa. And they, who have famously always depended on Hollyweird for campaign cash, couldn’t keep it off the air. But they have succeeded in stopping its sale as a DVD, according to various sources including conservative talker John Ziegler. The trailer to his documentary Blocking The Path to 9/11 was compelling enough that I bought one.

Then I went to Amazon looking for a copy of the old series, just in case it was now available. Nope. But one of the reviewers there had an url to an import version. So I went there and got a copy. Amazing, you can buy the Disney production overseas or on the Web. You just can’t buy it in this country or on Amazon. Well, anything Slick Willie and Hilarity (She was under fire in Bosnia!) don’t want me to see is a tantalizing draw. More on all this when I’ve received and watched both productions.
